Nah. Basketball teams level of play is perenially dynamic. They just need to be at a high point when the real season begins.
"The Father-heart of God was... thrilled with me -- an immature, mess-making spiritual infant... My heavenly Father was enjoying me while I was yet in the process of maturing, not sighing in disgust and waiting impatiently until I grew up. He loved and longed for me; He felt proud and was excited over me while I was falling short."

They can't be overrated since nobody in the media talks about them, aside from the occasional home broadcaster. I think this really can be their year. They've been in most of the games they lost, but lose games late, which shouldn't be new to Mavs fans.
I'm about as worried as a Detroit fan. They've lost 4-5 games in the last month after there incredible start. Are they worried? Probably not. It's very hard to sustain a high level over all 82 games of the year. Mavs will still win 60 games this year. May not be enough to overcome the Spurs for 1st place, but we'll deal with it when we get there. At this point, I'm more afraid of the Suns when Amare' comes back.
