Jussi Jokinen is MONEY!

Dude is 6-6 in the Stars' OT Shootouts this year. I'm glad we have him as one of our rising stars.

That was a sweet ending. Dallas was up 2-1 entering the 3rd and was trailing 3-2 before they tied the game with 46 seconds to go. Then Zubov and Jokinen took charge!

Man, that was a nail biter!! I'm glad i have him on my fantasy team too. MY question is though.......why can't he do more when its 5 on 5? I mean yeah, he's awesome, but how many total goals does he have? No i'm not bashing him, i'm just asking. I can't wait until the All-Star game here next year.

Shoot outs are awesome! You get to see some pretty good talent.

They've had 6 shootouts so far this season. You are right in saying that Turco is perfect in them so far. One guy hit the post last night against him and the other one he stopped with great saves.

Well I mean this is his first year in the big league so he's still learning. He's also starting to get more ice time, and he DID set up the game tying goal, ya know?

I'm in Austin so I don't get to see all the games but damn, it seems to me he's always on a different line. Tippett loves mixing it up, although it does seem like he's paired with Modano and Lehtinen alot.

I know they did have an all Finnish line with Jokinen - LW, Kappanen - C, and Lehtinen - RW.

Not sure which one he was on the other night. They play Colorado tonight @ 8:00.

Oh shit!! When did they bring the team back out so Turco could stop a 3rd penalty shot? I must have left too early last night!

I think that Colorado leads the NHL is 1st period goals, I wouldn't doubt that a bit. Hell I'll say 2-1 Avs after 1. Game will end 5-3.....Avs.

I just dont want to hear "And theyve scored on the first shot in the game" If the avs do go up 1 after the first the stars are ranked real high on behind after 1 wins.

Dammit I just want us to win and I want Detroit to lose alot so I can se we're no. 1 in the conference. Yeah and letting a goal in on the first shot is so depressing.

Agreed we have been so close all season and it seems when we win they win and when they lose a couple we lose a couple.

Hell yeah as long as jokinen and zubov are around. Turco needed a game like that to get his step back that was classic turco last night. Now all we need is for Billy G to get some in the net and we will be allright.

And we face Detroit on saturday. This is going to be a big game. Dallas finally won in Detroit the last time we played. We need to get a little momentum against this team. If we win, we'll be atop the Western Conf.

Oh, and Turco has 16 saves so far. Dallas hasn't put many shots on goal (11) but I expect that to change in th 3rd...a little more urgency is needed.
