Well, since Steve Smith is like 70% of their offense and they are covering him with 3-4 guys..........they are screwed. They are using their #4 RB and have no running game. Its gonna be the Steelers and the Seahawks in SuperBowl XL.

You would think if everyone is covering Steve Smith....pass to someone else! But thats only half of the story. Their offensive line isn't giving any protection.

The rumor is that Colbert and Proehl have hired stand-ins after seeing how the first half went.

That would be INT #3 for the day. They showed his QB rating for the game so far and it was a 1.6, thats right, a 1.6!!!!!!

I wouldn't go as far as to say that. It will be a good game, but my money is on the league MVP and not Ben "Dan Marino Jr." Rothlesberger.

pittsburgh wins the superbowl.

I agree. It'll be a good game first half, but second half, i look to see Pittsburg take control of the game.

Yep, I thought the Broncos would have done better than that showing today since they were undefeated at home. There is just something about the Steelers I don't like. I like them better than the Patriots, but not by much.
It'll be a good one for sure.

When Deshaun Foster went out, the Panthers became a one dimensional team. I said it on Monday, I said it today. I was pulling for the Panthers to win today, but it doesn't surprise me that they lost.

And what something is that? Judging from your age, I know that you don't hold a grudge against them from the 70s, and you probably don't even remember the Cowboys/Steelers Super Bowl in 1996, where Neal O'Donnel (fucker) threw.. what? 3 interceptions in the 2nd half?

Either way, you're a fucking moron -- 2 weeks in a row now.

Actually, I remember all 3 Cowboys Super Bowl games quite vividly. Get ready to have Shaun Alexander tear your Steelers a new asshole, fucking moron.

Kinda like how Tatum Bell and Mike Anderson were going to? Or how about Edgerin James? Rudi Johnson? Ladanian Tomlinson? Kinda like how all of those guys were going to tear us a new asshole? We're not #2 in stopping the run for no reason. Go jump on the Seahawks wagon for a week...

Regular Season game vs Edgerrin James:

29 rushes for 124 yards, 4.3 YPC

Regular Season game vs. Rudi Johnson:

21 rushes for 98 yards, 4.7 YPC, 2 TD's
1 reception for 5 yards

Doesn't seem like you stopped them there because both of those games were losses for your Steelers.

Don't even try to compare the Pitt/Cincy playoff game to the regular season one because Palmer played a whole 2 plays in the playoff game. Steelers would have lost if Palmer was in there and you know it.

You didn't stop Rudi Johnson in your playoff game either. He got stopped by his own coach.

13 carries for 56 yards, 4.3 YPC, 1 TD
2 receptions for 14 yards

Same for Edgerrin James in their playoff game against Pitt.

13 carries for 56 yards, 4.3 YPC, 1 TD
5 receptions for 26 yards

Both times they had to go to a purely passing attack to catch up. Giving up 4.3 YPC doesn't seem very stout to me, more like very average.

You'd have to be an idiot to think the Panthers were gonna beat the Seahawks. Seattle started 2-2 and then haven't lost since...

Lil Steve Smith looked like he was about to pout on the sidelines. lol

Super Bowl is gonna be great. I think the Steelers will take it, but it will be one of the closest, hardest fought SBs ever.

Seattle is grossly under-rated. Although Carolina became one dimensional with the injury of Foster, I think Seattle would have won. Their defense gets no credit, but is the real deal. I think they will beat Pitt.

Seattle has a good shot if they play their game. Seattle's defense and Hassleback have to play mistake free. Also, the receivers can't drop shit either. It might come down to special teams where Pitt gets the nod.

I think having only one person run for over 100 yards against us all year is a pretty stout stat, if I must say so myself. The 23 games we had without a runner hitting 100 yards in a game is an even more impressive one.

As far as the Carson Palmer thing... would we have lost? I don't know. We lost to him once, by one touchdown (interceptions and fumbles did us in) and beat them all throughout the game the first time we played them this season.

I won't win an argument with you, because I'm sure you'll just revert back to stats again -- which mean dick, really.

I think you should turn your resume into ESPN and see if you can take Tom Jackson's place. Those guys just love to spout off stats.

By the way buddy, which team do you pull for anyways, and where are they now?

Cool. Well get your ass out there and play RB, Bettis ain't gettin it done with 15 carries for 39 yards.

He was yelling "let's go home" to his parents in the stands - I guess The Bus expects someone else to drive...

He's an old man with a body that's more beat up than your boyfriend's anus; give the guy a break.

He's our 3rd down and goal line back, he's been letting someone else drive all year.
