UT recruits

One that I though Hook'em would agree would probably help Texas on defense.

School: Woodrow Wilson

Position: Tailback/linebacker

Height, weight: 6-4, 225

Notable: The News' Area Defensive Player of the Year made 31 tackles behind the line of scrimmage. On offense, he rushed for 2,298 yards and 40 touchdowns on 218 carries. ... Could make an immediate impact on defense at Texas, where he is enrolling for the spring semester. ... Parade All-American is ranked by Rivals.com as the No. 3 recruit in the nation and the top linebacker recruit.

You must be talking about Jordan Shipley. I think he got hurt again in practice before this season and got a medical redshirt. He might be back this season, but he's gonna have to fight Limas Sweed, Billy Pittman, Brian Carter, Nate Jones, and Quan Cosby for a spot.

yeah, Eddie Jones won't hurt on the defensive line either. It'll be nice having two of the best defensive people in the nation being at texas.

yep, Shipley is a legend and has never stepped foot on the field yet LOL

I really want to see the Big XII land the big names. I'm sick of hearing that we are a weak conference.
