better bet? nfl

my bets are set, but i'm teetering on the steeler/colts game. (and my wife told me i could NOT bet against her steelers!) so...

steelers +15.5, or indy -3.5 ? i initially had indy, but the more i think about it i think the steelers will make this one close. one thing sticking out in my mind is how much that noise affected them at cincy, and indy will be even noisier.

Noise was a factor in their first 2 drives. 3 false starts in 2 drives, went 3 and out each time.

They scored on most possessions from there on out.

They utilized a silent snap count the last time they played Indy, and that worked fairly well for them -- just 2 false starts the entire game, and it kept Dwight Freeny in check - I think they'll probably do the same thing this time.

Look for the same style of play that they used against Cinci. What? You're stacking 8 and 9 in the box? We'll run anyways. Stacking the box again? We'll throw a 10 yard play action pass to Hines Ward. Roethlisberger will throw the ball 17-25 times.

I think the Steelers have a legitimate shot at this game, and I'm not just saying that because I'm a fan.

my wife's from pittsburgh, she said she was going to watch it alone if i bet against them and i'd be in the doghouse! so this steeler at +15 might be the way to go.

I think it's a warm up game for the Colts. Colts by 2 tds. (haven't placed the bet yet) As such I think its the Colts -3.5 as the better bet. But then again, 15 points in a playoff game is alot of chalk.

Definatly go steelers with 15. The steelers are one of those teams that can show up on any given day and just have everything going their way because of the offense along with a solid defense
