Question Big 12 North

So, since Colorado lost to Iowa State tonight, who exactly is at the top of the Big 12 North anyway?

It seems like every one of those teams has beaten each other.

I'm going to try and type this out and visualize it:

Colorado: 7-3 (5-2) lost to Iowa State

Iowa State: 7-3 (4-3) lost to Nebraska and Missouri

Missouri: 6-4 (4-3) lost to Colorado and Kansas

Nebraska: 6-4 (3-4) lost to Kansas and Missouri

Kansas: 5-5 (2-5) lost to Kansas State and Colorado

Kansas State: 4-6 (1-6) lost to Colorado, Iowa State, and Nebraska

My head hurts now.

the buffs are 5-2 in the conf and the cyclones are 4-3. so if the buffs win again, they will play texas in houston.

Sorry for the # error there. Corrected.

So the overall record superceeds the head-to-head win/loss?

Also, all of this could get really muddy next week with Colorado playing Nebraska and Iowa State playing Kansas.

Either way Texas is going to stomp whoever wins the North.

If Colorado wins, they win the North. If Colorado loses, and Missouri wins, then Missouri wins the North. If Colorado loses, Missouri loses, and Iowa St wins, then Iowa St wins the North.

I had forgotten there was a Big 12 North.

I just assumed the Big 12 winner came out of the South.

Basically it does, but they technically have to play the champ. game just to give the North a sporting chance. LOL!
