Big XII Picks: Week 10, Nov. 5

Yeah, it's early, but I'm bored.

Conference Records in parentheses
Texas (5-0) v. Baylor (1-4) Texas
Kansas St. (1-4) v. Iowa St. (2-3) Iowa St.
Nebraska (2-3) v. Kansas (1-4) Nebraska
Missouri (3-2) v. Colorado (4-1) Colorado

and the Game of the week:
Texas A&M (3-2) v. Texas Tech (4-1) Are you here for the feeding? You're early, it's Saturday. You should come back. It's gonna be a Blood Bath. That means: W for Tech, BIG . . . Hope no one dies when they pull down the goal posts. I think even Tech would be disappointed A&M sucks so much this year because this should have been a BIG game.

But what do I know, I shouldn't be allowed to discuss college football

Ok, here's the line as of 11/1/2005

Texas v. Baylor (+28.5)
Kansas St. (+7.5) v. Iowa St.
Nebraska v. Kansas (+1.5) <--- Big XII Game of the Week (SAD)
Missouri (+11.5) v. Colorado
Texas A&M (+17) v. Texas Tech

My picks in same order as above:
Texas to cover
Take the points on Kansas St.
Nebraska to cover
Take the points on Missouri
Texas Tech to cover

Don't forget the cinnamon rolls David!

Thankfully i'll be at the Mavs home opener against the Spurs so I won't have to watch the A&M/TTU game live. I am going to record it and keep from hearing the results. That way, when I watch it after the Mavs game, I can turn it off if/when it gets ugly.

Just to be a good sport, David, our avatar bet is still on this year for the A&M/UT game. Gotta keep the tradition going, right? Just go ahead and tell me what to use now.

Maston, I'm all about that firetorbush link. I don't know if we need to give up on Fran yet, but the defensive coordinator for sure needs the boot. Bring back the 3-4!!! Maybe Slocum could be defensive coordinator?

Sure. I'll think of something tame IF A&M loses.

I'd rather eat a Kolache, than a colonache! That sounds like some nacho's that went REAL bad!

I'm afraid Texas won't cover. It will be an easy win, but I'm not looking at a 28 point spread.

28 points is alot. Granted that's close Texas' average point spread, but if I were betting money I'd give Baylor the Benefit of the doubt.

Half Dozen Poppyseed Kolaches and you'll fail a drug test

You must not have a Czech stomach . . . eat half dozen Kolaches, two Klobase links, and an Ice Cold Pevo . . . you'd probably die.

I don't think there will be a goal post ripped down this year. In fact I would bet money on it.

PT, are you on fucking acid or something? There are some HS teams here in Texas that could pass all over A&M's weak stick secondary. That game is going to be a passing yardage and TD fest.

I guess you have decided to only come after me versus the person I agreed with. This means that you don't like me versus my opinion. I really could care less about your opinion of me so I'm going to have to ask you to shut the fuck up, have a great day.

If you could care less about his opinion, then why do you care so much to ask him to "shut the fuck up" (more than passive language)?
