I don't quite think that VY had much of anything to do with the defensive woes of the first half, minus one poor throwing decision. He went for about 300 in the air, and on the ground. IF anything, he emerged from the back of the pack, to lead the pack, because all MOST voters are gonna do is see...hmm, Texas wins by about 20, VY ran for 293, threw for 297, broke school records, blah blah blah....yup, there's my guy. Bush? What did Bush do this week? OH...boooooring.
It isn't as if they actually watch each candidate play week in and week out, and had they watched VY, they would have seen him just about go for 300/300, while single handedly whipping OSU in the 2nd half.
As to RM, one thing is clear this season: He can't hold VYs jock, and VY is a jr.

You have to expect people to bash him when he faulters, just as you do Fran, Reggie, Vick, VT, Aggies,OU, etc. People bash who they don't like and when that person gives them the least little reason they jump on it. This is really a question you could have answered yourself, don't you think?
