New NFL Team

San Antonio Saints.

With no fan base left. I would almost bet the move becomes permanent.
San Antonio has been trying to sway a team for a decade you can bet they won't blow this chance.

You're wrong. Saints go to Los Angeles. Willing to bet a pay check on it.

They'll go nowhere.
Besides, the BiQueens are going to SanAntonio, eventually.....

This is just silly. The Aints arent going anywhere. They arent going to punish that city even further by taking their franchise......

There's not even much of a city left for them to play in really(not trying to have a debate about this, just throwing in my $.02).

They wont go to LA since they always lose their teams cause the people of LA dont support their teams... its happened in the past.. it will happen again....

and... the superdome is fawked... and the city isnt going to try to fix it anytime soon ... they are going to focus on rebuilding the essentials.. not a stadium for football..

It's not about punishment, its about the state of Louisiana paying the Saints to play there. The franchise has a guarantee of revenue from the state every year. When the Saints don't generate the income guaranteed, the state is responsible for the difference. Considering that and recent events, Louisiana has bigger financial problems to attend to. I think the Saints are done in Louisiana.

I'm tired, and probably being a bit slow here, but WTF are you referring to? (biqueens?)

Red McCombs used to own the Vikes, when he did he wanted to move them to SA where he's from.

Now that a state official is saying that the Superdown is likely to be torn down, I would imagine that the franchise would move to another city.

Word on the street is that the saints will play about 4 games in san antonio this year. This is the cities chance to prove to the nfl they can support a football team. I plan on going to the games if they have em here. Hell I think it is only right because the residents of san antonio are the ones that made Tom Benson a billionaire just like Red Mcombs. I don't think that old jerry jones is going to like a nfl team down here cause its going to hurt his bottom line but fuck him he aint ever done shit for our town oh but wait hes held training camp here. Plus san antonio fans aint like dallas fans we don't like cheering for teams that lose year after year. I think with the size of this town and austin and all of south texas we can easily support an NFL team. Look how good the spurs do here of course the nfl is like the nba they hate small markets that do good and dont generate any money for them.

TRAIN TRASH it's like WHITE TRASH but with money.

So when the spurs sucked y'all didn't support them? What kind of fan doesn't support their team when they are struggling.................................A San Antonio fan? You are the same as all the fair-weather cowboy fans up here and probably don't deserve even the lowly Saints
