Fran's "best gameday coach" title beginning to slip?

Fran really flubbed this one. He needs to make a public apology to his team and the fans. There is absolutely, positively NO explanation for not going for 2.

Defense still porous and can't tackle. For a guy who stresses fundamentals, this team can't tackle worth a hoot ... just like the past two years.

Offense is a big play offense. Looks like last year's playbook. You can't consistently beat good teams with a big play offense. You need to be able to get a couple of first downs now and then to maintain possession at critical times. One more 1st down on our last possession and we likely win this one.

We got lucky last year ... but you can't live on luck either. We're now 1-5 in our last 6 games and 2-9 in road games.

My confidence in Fran is waning quickly.

If you go up by 1 after a touchdown, then you go for two every time. There is no difference between leading by one and leading by two... there is a huge difference between leading by 2 and leading by 3. It was a mistake... and it decided the game.

ouch........feelings, board ags?

"The Father-heart of God was... thrilled with me -- an immature, mess-making spiritual infant... My heavenly Father was enjoying me while I was yet in the process of maturing, not sighing in disgust and waiting impatiently until I grew up. He loved and longed for me; He felt proud and was excited over me while I was falling short."

the team i saw last night makes me wonder what the F is going on in "practice."

it was a winnable game but not an "easy" game.

dropped passes and three stooges style defense is gonna give us another 4 win season.

We will be better than last year, but we weren't playing ULL either.

Looks like it is tu's conference to lose this year for sure. I sure hope the smack talking is kept in check until the skins are on the wall. Right now OU is the defending conference champ and have beaten tu pretty badly in recent times. Hell, even A&M has more recent wins against tu and OU then tu has against OU, but you don't see me saying that.

I have to agree with a quote from former Treasury Secretary William E. Simon: "Bad politicians are sent to Washington by good people who don't vote."
