Talking Mark Teixeira!!!

this guy will be the AL MVP this year, he is so awesome. also i hope wins the Homerun Derby on Monday. the rangers have the best infield in baseball, defensively and offensively.

Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get.

hold up on the defense....any defense with soriano at 2b is not the best defensively.

Pfft, you are the worst at times. Teixeira is a bad ass, but he's hardly in position to be the AL MVP this year with the way Miguel Tejada is playing, Brian Roberts, A-rod or Vladimir Guerrero. I would also take the O's infield over the Texas infield. Soriano can't field worth shit.

i think if Big Tex has a great 2nd half of the season he has a real good chance to

win the AL mvp of the year awardl.. Also Soriano is inconsistent at 2nd base still

he makes some spectacular plays then he boots a routine grounder, but his bat

makes up for his defense...just my .02

TFS heads
TFS cam
Parker intake
Holley carb

It's a 302 btw

If Soriano cant field then neither can Tejada.

The Rangers are the best in the majors in fielding with a fielding percentage of .987, despite Soriano having 13 errors.

Let's take a closer look at both teams. 1B, 2B, 3B, and SS

3B
Hank Blalock 1 error .996FPCT (the best in the league by far)
Melvin Mora 6 errors .972FPCT

2B
Soriano 13 errors .968FPCT
Brian Roberts 4 errors .989FPCT

SS
Michael Young 5 errors .985FPCT
Miguel Tejada 11 errors .973FPCT (bet you didnt think he had that many errors)

1B
Mark Teixeira 2 errors .998FPCT
Rafael Palmeiro 4 errors .994FPCT

Rangers Infield 21 errors
Orioles Infield 25 errors

We can even get into the catcher position.
Rod Barajas has been solid and consistant behind the dish all year, allowing just 19 stolen bases and thrown out 17 base stealers.

Baltimore has a revolving door at the catcher spot with Gil, Lopez and Fasano.
Combined these three catchers have allowed 58 stolen bases, thats right 58 and have only caught 18.

I'll take the Rangers even with Soriano.

I was figuring in the bats as well. Had we just looked at fielding, I'd take the White Sox infield hands down. If Roberts and Tejada were not having the year they are having at the plate, then yea, i'd take the Rangers infield. Just hard to pass on 2 guys in the same infeild batting over .325, one leading the league in doubles, the other at the top in on base percentage.

You know you just ordered a case of Ranger Haterade from me. Don't deny it. You even ask for a free t-shirt and water bottle. Both have the Rangers logo with a line through it. You ain't got to lie to kick it.
