If Soriano cant field then neither can Tejada.
The Rangers are the best in the majors in fielding with a fielding percentage of .987, despite Soriano having 13 errors.
Let's take a closer look at both teams. 1B, 2B, 3B, and SS
Hank Blalock 1 error .996FPCT (the best in the league by far)
Melvin Mora 6 errors .972FPCT
Soriano 13 errors .968FPCT
Brian Roberts 4 errors .989FPCT
Michael Young 5 errors .985FPCT
Miguel Tejada 11 errors .973FPCT (bet you didnt think he had that many errors)
Mark Teixeira 2 errors .998FPCT
Rafael Palmeiro 4 errors .994FPCT
Rangers Infield 21 errors
Orioles Infield 25 errors
We can even get into the catcher position.
Rod Barajas has been solid and consistant behind the dish all year, allowing just 19 stolen bases and thrown out 17 base stealers.
Baltimore has a revolving door at the catcher spot with Gil, Lopez and Fasano.
Combined these three catchers have allowed 58 stolen bases, thats right 58 and have only caught 18.
I'll take the Rangers even with Soriano.
