Armstrong looking strong

He missed the yellow jersey by .02 seconds, but he passed Ullrich during the time trial with ease. He looks really strong this year already in the Tour De France.

Not wearing the yellow till the mountains has always been his stragedy. He is a strong climber and has one of the top times in the alp duez. It takes alot of stress off him and the team not going yellow till the mountains. He is a stronger now than he was last year, but with Ulrich back he has more competition... Ulrich is the kind of rider that will lurk back for a a few stages ( in top 10) then around the 11th stage will begin fighting. Hope discovery can pull through

Lifted truck to get me there and a single speed bike to ride it.

'02 Dodge quad caB- 6 inch on 35's.
07 Polaris Predator 500
And a whole mess of bikes.
Mustang again, soon....

Armstrong's team is stronger than ever. Even if Ulrich can hang early, his team won't be able to hang with Lance.

Ullrich hardly ever rides with his team... after 30 miles into the stage you will rarely see another T-Mobile jersey next to him..

The discovery team is strong ( as was the usps back in the day) but when you really think about it, in the later stages (mountains) lance usually rides away from his team with an exception of maybe 2 of them... In my opinion the only rider on the same team as Armstrong that ever really helped him out was Tyler Hamilton..

rough stage 8 for lance and team discovery. Popo was the only one near, and he was only near for a little bit.

Into the Pyrenees Mountains! Lance will make his move, if he's able. He could put a lot of time between him and his rivals. Better watch Rasmussen, though. The kid can climb....
