State Farm Lone Star Showdown mercifully ends

No, not with the baseball win. On 4/25, Texas was up 10.5-4, and the series was over.

Quote:
The Texas "wins" in the Series this year came via: football, men's cross country, women's basketball, men's swimming and diving, women's swimming and diving, women's indoor track, men's indoor track, women's tennis and women's golf.

Additionally, each school received one-half point each in volleyball and men's basketball, as UT won a meeting and the Aggies won a game in the home-and-home series.

The Aggies' points have come from the volleyball and men's basketball contests and in winning the head-to-head point in women's soccer, women's cross country and men's tennis.
Final score of this stupid "competition" was 14.5-4.5

You mean 10 years? There was a post on hornfans or texags or somewhere that had the Sears Cup standing the last 10 years......it wasn't pretty.

OTOH, even though ya'lll got beat out by Baylor this year, you did manage to tie TTech....Hold that rope!
