Is that a production bike, or a one off custom??
That would make one hell of a outlaw bike.

Alex,

About half and half. It was a limited edition production bike and about 10 were made. I've had the bike apart several times changing things as I went, modifying and improving.

Nine feet long, 310 HP, 990 pounds.
Since this photo was taken, it now has shorter handle bar risers, since I removed the windshield I put on a few years back.
It looks better with the handlebars lowered.
The next modification up, is a 120 HP shot nitrous set up. Small chrome NOS bottles will be behind the rear shocks.
I'm also redesigning the sidepipes, making them shorter, and a larger diameter.

I like everything, but the paint.

Very cool project though! Good job!

It'd be awsome to see a video of it running down the road.

it looks like the forks are really compressed, is there a lot of suspension travel when riding?

The front forks are made by American Suspension. They are firm, but have plenty of travel. It rides like a full dresser Harley, which can weigh up to 800 pounds. It's not as high tech as a Honda Gold Wing, which was built from the ground up in a wind tunnel, and millions of dollars in research. This bike was built around a car engine, so it does have limits. I just like the WOW factor. Twist the throttle, kick in the Holley 650 double pumper 4 barrel, and hang the hell on...

Actually, for open pipes it's pretty quiet, compared to Harley's with open pipes. Pulling out slowly at around 1100 RPM, it sounds like an old Merc with a low rumble. At 60 MPH, it's turning 2200 RPM and has a nice growl ( I've always liked the sound of Ford engines )
Now if I kick in the 4 barrel at 60, and open it up, it will definitely get your attention.

No it prob is reverse drive train. That is if it even runs...

That's definitely a 08 or 09 engine. The 2010 is a rearward-slanted cylinder, and all the engine covers on the 2010 are different: water pump, clutch, and oil..

I'm diggin the frame tho, and the chrome engine.. Not practical tho, but then again not meant to be..

The 08/09 did not have a rear exit exhaust/front intake configuration though.

Damn bike looks photoshopped is you ask me!!

Yeah I know but look at the engine and cases, they are 09 or 09 cases for sure.. They just reworked or machined the cylinder head for reverse application..

Was this guy on here?

This is sad, but folks need to leave the excessive stuff off the public roads:

FORT WORTH — A 23-year-old motorcycle rider involved in an early morning wreck on northbound Interstate 35W died Tuesday afternoon from his injuries, according to police. The man, identified by the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office as Nicholas Nicolaidis of Roanoke, was traveling south near the 8800 block of I-35W about 3:40 a.m. when he rear-ended a 3/4 -ton Chevrolet pickup, Fort Worth police said. "According to witnesses, the motorcycle was traveling significantly faster than other traffic on the freeway at that time," said Sgt. Chad Mahaffey, a police spokesman. Nicolaidis was taken to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth, where he later died. — Traci Shurley

Why do people always ask if the rider in some incident was on here? Chances are so slim it seems weird to even ask

riders are usually close-knit people. If it wasn't someone on here, there's a chance someone on here knows them.

Red face you guys with bikes

well i wanted to see about purchasing a bike soon. i wanted to see if anyone has any helpful advice. im trying to get a bike, but i want to finance it and make payments on it. i assume no private owner in their right mind would let you "make payments" on a bike they want to sell. but again i just wanted advice and to see what everyone opinion is. im sure im gonna get flammed for even thinking this. ive seen some bikes on craiglist that finance. but im sure they are dealerships trying to get rid of the bikes.

thankyou in advance

you will need to get a loan from a bank or finance thru a dealership.

I have a 08 600rr that is in PERFECT condition with about 5k miles on it.... I'd let it go for pay off which is about 6500
i put on flush blinkers in front and back and got rid of the mud flap and it has a brand new rear tire
The only reason I bought it was to beat the gas prices a year and a half ago when it was out of control but gas went back down and I never ride it anymore (I might have put 400 miles on it this year)

best advice is to save about $3500 and buy an older fuel injected one cash. I'm sure a lot of people will agree.....

And not to squash his offer, buy what you want, but I wouldn't personally pay more than 2k for your first bike. You WILL drop it while learning and it'll hurt like a son of a bitch in the wallet if it's a cherry bike. A neighbor bought a chopper for like 12k all pimped out, then on his first ride drove it right into the side of a parked car. Snapped the front fork off and trashed the drivetrain. He doesn't have the bike and is still probably making payments on it.

Get a learner, learn, then sell it to someone else to learn on. THEN get the dream bike.

haha.. thanks.. I dig it because its different... The silver bikes came with a black lower fairing... the dealer I bought this one from had switched the colors around so it ended up all silver.. looks WAY cleaner I think.
Let me know if you are seriously interested and I'll get the exact pay off.

i was gonna take a riders course here pretty quick, and i know i will drop my first bike for sure. theres no way around it. hell something could happen to an experienced rider like a car pulling out in front of him at the last minute and he could drop it(not saying that will happen but theres always a chance) i cant find a learners bike anywhere around me. everyone has harleys and honda crusiers. and i dont know anyone that would let me practice on their "learner bike"
