Backpack/Tankbag

What do you guys use? I have a regular backpack now but its inconvenient as shit, if its strapped tight its hits my helmet, and if its too loose, it parchutes like a mofo. I thought about getting the MAnta bag, but don't want to damage the paint.

I use a backpack. I sometimes carry alot of stuff, and it never bothers me. I agree with it hitting my helmet when it is too tight, but i think thats because it was pushing up my back protector, so i took it out of my jacket, and its all good now.

Get a different backpag. I've got both, but I prefer the pack over the bag, as it's easier to carry with me when I get to a destination. On long rides I'll use the tank bag to keep the weight off my shoulders.

I prefer the tank bag. If I have my tank bag empty or full (or anywhere in between) it rides about the same. Plus I find it more comfortable to lay down on my tank bag during long trips.

The backpack I used for a while would buffet pretty bad if it was fairly empty, didn't care for that. Also if I had to take a spill I wouldn't want to have a backpack strapped on. Something about having something sharp or big and landing on top of it with my back

In either case, I like my tank bag. It can convert to a backpack in a pinch whenever I'm off the bike making it easier to carry. I sometimes also use the top transparent pocket on the tank bank for storing a map or cell phone. Makes it easier pull over and take a call or look at the map briefly at a stop.

I use a back pack, although I never carry anything big or something that could potentially break my back in a spill.I have used my shuttle back pack to carry my puter somewhere and hated just about every minute of that. Mostly it's just lunch, small items.

And I wouldnt buy joe rocket anything! I have a pair of gloves that ive had to sew the finger tips up 2 different times and the palms are shot to hell. thats just from regular use (and one warm weather season) I'd hate to see what would happen in a fall.

i use a backpack right now, but I don't like it. My buddy has a tank bag that works really nice. Alot easier to get on to. Regular backpacks don't seem like they were made for leather jackets. lol But once I get one it will be an ICON.

This is what I have, and have taken several 2 day trips and can fit everything in there, as well as take it to work with my lunch etc.

I tried the back pack at first, but found out that it scratched the shit out of the hump on my 'Busa

I am going to get the Saddlebags to go with it if I decide to ride up to KY for the Derby.

I use both if I ride to work, I have to carry some stuff that won't fit in the tank bag, but if I am just cruising then I will use the tank bag.

I've got a nice size Joe Rocket magnetic tank bag with the zip up clear part in the top for a map. It expands to a nice size and I've had to carry a 6 pack in it every now and then after unexpectedly stopping at the store.

they wouldnt finance for the Street Bob, but they will put me on a Sportster. I had them run the numbers, and it came out to paying 300.05 for 72 months, and they said they were charging me 21.9% interest. That comes down to 21,603.60, for a bike that MSRP's at 9695. The numbers didnt add up, so i'm now exploring other options.

Last year's WSBK champion crashed out in Race 1 at Donnington Park, last weekend. Damaged his hand and pinky finger. Poor little pinky was amputated......the first two bones.

btw he has a 03 Honda shadow 750 for sale if your interested superclean bike and well taken car of, it's been sitting for about 7 mths now since its basiclly brand new looking bike and low miles on ...he only bought the Harley cause of his buddy's ridding harleys.

If your interested pm me and ill send you the craigslist on it.

I plan on getting my Harley, and keeping it until it is considered an older Harley. Thanks for the offer on the Shadow, but I think i'm going to stick with what i found. My bank is going to finance me for the bike that I want, and i'll end up paying less than I would for the bike i'd have to settle for if i went through Harley
