Another rider dies

SB Hwy. 199 In Azle Closed After Man Ejected From Motorcycle Dies

AZLE, Texas -- Southbound Highway 199 is shut down at Main Street in Azle after a motorcyclist died when he was ejected from his bike.

The 19-year-old man was lying in the highway at least 300 feet from where the motorcycle came to rest.

Witnesses said the man was racing a car at a high rate of speed.

The other car left the scene, NBC 5 reported.

No one else was believed to be injured.

Yes, a public forum. Where most are friends outside of the net. Well I'm not...so I didn't know if he was looking for responses from his normal riding buddies...or anyone who happend to come across it.

his name was Blaze. I can't think of his last name though. I don't know who he was but he was eating up at my restraunt with 2 of his other buddies. Then about 30-45 mins later we hear about a wreck. And this is real close to our store (about 1/2 mile away). I'm not really for sure what happened but I'm going to try and find out tomorrow from the local PD. I have been told it was a red honda or suzuki.

Damn I got a alot of calls today about this, some thinking it was my other buddy. Its sad to see at such a young age.

should go to Boyd Saturday for TCCRA race. I'm just going Saturday to ride, and skipping the Sunday race? Boyd is a nice track. (at least it was last year).
I'll be up at Muenster some of the next few weekends, though. So if you go then give a shout. (I'm helping layout an Enduro track. so I'll be working for about an hour or so in the mornings that i go, then ride the rest of the day)

Where the hell is 697?

I work in sherman, never heard of that. But i did get five or six phone calls last night asking if it was me that wrecked.

I was gonna race that one ( not a member either but I wanna be). BUT like always some last minute family coming in town puts a kink in that plan. I might be able to sneak away early Sat for a local ride. Boyd is kinda local, do you have to be a member to run the practice?

As far as I know you have to be a member. THe membership isn't a whole lot, but as little as I've been riding lately it wouldn't make sense to buy one. I might end up riding 360 or something Saturday afternoon.

I don't care too much for Marshall Creek, but I haven't been there in 5 years or so. I'm not familiar with Trinity River CC course. Where's it at?

I really like it but it stays wet after a rain so if it rains hard Friday night and Saturday don't bother going. TCCRA is going to hold a race there in Aug. I think.

Yeah, they did one last august too, right?

Yeah, when it rains the river flooding really ruins that place. but other than that. it's cool. yall know of anywhere that wont flood for this weekend that is comparable to crow park?

Thanks dude.

I should take more updated pics.
The quad has a ton more mods since that picture was taken.
I need to get someone to re-tune it with a wideband though.

I'm curious as well. I know several riders that take 4x4 quads out there. I'd rather ride my bike than my quad if I'm heading somewhere.
