grats man ...how much did you pay?? and you didnt get it overseas did u!

To me, clowns aren't funny. In fact, they're kind of scary. I've wondered where this started and I think it goes back to the time I went to the circus, and a clown killed my dad.

financed $6k on it. yea actually i did, and its gonna be here tomorrow! what a smokin deal it was .

actually im buying it from DFW Honda in Grapevine. It is one of the saleman's bike that he bought new. I forget the guy's name that owned it, but I worked with Pat Brown. If anyone heads up there and wants a good guy to deal with ask for Pat.

Sounds like you got a pretty nice bike. 6K seems a little pricey for an 04'...BUT...if its got that low of mileage its prolly not a bad deal.
You will like it...F4i's are great bikes.
Keep it locked up...and I mean SERIOUSLY keep it locked up. They have a habit of getting stolen frequently.

the bike has full coverage from State Farm. hit them up btw, they gave me an awesome deal compared to the others i checked with! i dont have life insurance but should probably look into it. i do have blue cross blue shield through my work so i feel a little bit better about that end of things.

if i stay smart and ride safe hopefully there will be no need for either type of insurance. *knocks on wood*

Good luck biotch. When this halo comes off I'm gonna have to drive down to Arlington and take a look at it. Maybe all the regulars at Hooter's Kyle?

Finally Finished!

I know a lot of you guys are not into the custom sport bike scene, but unfortunately I am. I bought this CBR900 off the board from XStangGT around last July and what started off as just a clean- up, ended as a complete rebuild. The frame was polished and everything else was chromed. A friend of mine painted it with skulls, real flames and a candy green overlay. Whatcha think?

Not too shabby. I think it looks really slick except for the mirrors, they're too "showy." They take away from the sleek body lines by just hanging out there all curvy, plus they're ugly . Just my .02 since you asked, but other than that, it's a good looking bike.

Thumbs up

Try pouring gas on it and lighting it on fire

j/k

Sounds like carb probs. Other than the idle prob does it run ok at other RPM's? Does it have any mods done such as exhaust, etc? If the carbs are gunked up they may need a good teardown and cleaning, and then a good sync. Wichita Falls is a little far for me to drive up and look.

very sweet bike. but like SC457A said to much to clean. I would love to be able to own a show car or bike but they always seem like a headache. But they sure do make nice pics.

u did a good job on it and its not like everyone elses thats why I like it.

Thanks guys for the input/ compliments! I'm kinda questioning the mirrors myself, right now. But it's too late to go back with stock ones. Maybe I'll find another set that will flow with the bike a little better. One thing that we ALL can agree on is that it's a PITA to clean. I'll never do another like this. Hey junebug, maybe we'll get together one day this week!

Just curious. I was going to roll-out there with some friends, and haven't been on a Thursday since last year. Anyone else going? Does that place still get as packed as it used to get?

Last Thursday was totally packed. Biggest crowd I have seen in a while out there. Of course the first Thursday that was nice in a while. Hopefully the rain will finish before time to go out there. Hope to see you out there if no rain.
