Actually I dropped it in my slippery ass parking garage at work. But it was basically standing still but there was a huge puddle of water got a little too much front brake. I just bent the front brake lever. And barely scratched the header (which was already getting replaced with D&D) so no loss. I was pissed as hell at myself though. I already ordered the new front brake lever which was a whole 20 bucks so no biggy!

It is funny when you roll up on a Harley on this thing they don't know if they want to wave or not. Once they realize what it is they usually smile but until they hear it or get close enough to see it they usually act like you aren't there!

Fix a flickering light in speedometer

I have a 96 Bandit 600 and the light inside the speedometer is flickering. I took as much off as possible and still cannot get to the bulb (i think the bulb is loose, or perhaps loose wire connection somewhere). Anyone know how to get to it, or fix this problem?

keep pulling stuff off till you can remove the speedo. Probally just loose like you said.

Or you could just hit it, that tends to fix things

Talking This tread will be worthless without pics

But I am still quite pleased to announce my return to the world of all things two wheeled with my purchase of an 06 blue and white yzf600r. I have been without a bike for a year or so since I sold my shadow and wanted something for daily use. I put about 40 miles on her today and even for a 600 she is really fun to ride. This is my first yamaha and my first dealing with motioncycles off of 635 and I am very happy with both. I had forgotten how nice a long ride is and all the people waving and bring the front wheel up as a way of saying hi is really refreashing. So If you see me out be sure to say whats up... I'm 6'2 and 300 pounds you can't miss me. And to anyone thinking of a first bike I will say a 600 should be more than enough unless you have some need for a liter bike. I have been riding on and off for about 10 years and this bike is perfect for getting anywhere you need to go. I'm sure someone needs a busa or an R1 for something besides the track but if your a noob that someone is probably not you.

You are not free whose liberty is won by the rigour of other, more righteous souls. Your are merely protected. Your freedom is parasitic, you suck the honourable man dry and offer nothing in return. You who have enjoyed freedom, who have done nothing to earn it, your time has come. This time you will stand alone and fight for yourselves. Now you will pay for your freedom in the currency of honest toil and human blood."

I'd like to find a used Buell and give about $3K for it, then chop it up, and make something cool out of it.
