To my bike buddies....

Jose, possibly sticky this, and leave it in this forum.

Would any of you guys, and or gals, want to take a trip down to the river at the end of July. I am already planning a trip on the 29th, which is a Friday, and coming back Sunday sometime.

I already have about 15 people going, and have it posted on 2 other boards. You fockers post up and lets go have some fun, and lets take a fun break from all the excitment. If you would like to ride down on yor bikes, cool, i'm sure we can get someone to take your camping gear down in a cage.

I should be in. Please provide more details. Exact time and location of departure, route, what river, etc. If you need to map the route let me know and I'll do up a map with MS Streets and Trips and post it up.

We will be leaving Friday evening on July 29th, and returning the following Sunday. We will be camping at a place called Huaco Springs, right on the Guadalupe river. It takes about 5 hours to get down there, depending on traffic. If you want to ride, thats fine, i'm sure we can get your gear down there some how. This is a campground type place, but i have seen people bring their bikes, and not get messed with. And the route we take is just 35 straight down there. As far as taking off of 35 to get to the campsite, well, thats a little tricky to explain, so i will try to find a map. For those that haven't been, its a blast! Lots of women, partying, and sun!

The river is great. Finally went there with some friends and my brother 2 weeks ago. Stayed at a place called Mountain Breeze. Got down there Saturday night and we were really wishing we would have gone earlier that day so we could float on Saturday...so many women on the river

I live down here in austin, so I can just run down there quick, I'm going to keep an eye on this thread. If you guys are riding I recommend you guys get one friend with a large truck and throw everything in that.

Then get drunk and come up with great ways to get it out.

you have to save the file to your computer, because if you just load the page it still tries to use WMP.

Right click on the video screen and then click on properties.
Highlight and copy the "adress"
Paste it in your explorer bar and hit enter or "go"
it should then ask you if you want to "run" or "save"
Save the file to your computer and then right click on it and choose open with... Choos program..... VLC

Anime Helmet

Someone was telling me about a helmet that had an anime chic bending over on the back of it. Does anyone know who makes this helmet. I'm looking for any kind of helmet with anime/cartoon people on them. The only two I have found so far are the Icon - Damnation and KBC - Assassin. Do any of you know of some more? Thanks for the help!

Have you ever stopped to help a fellow biker?

Riding home last night from work (11:30pm) I decided to take 360 South from 114 as they opened up some of the highway there and thought it would be a nice change of scenery from the mundane 114. Anyway, turning onto 183 I saw an R1 on the side of the road and stopped to see if he needed any help. He was OK, just ran out of gas and he had someone already coming out to help him.

If I was in my SuperCrew and saw someone broke down in a car I probably wouldn't have helped them. But a fellow rider I would have. Just curious but has anyone else on here ever stopped to help a fellow rider?

We have stopped to help a few people. Have fixed a few bikes on the side of the road also. They were very grateful. I know I would want someone to help me if I was broken down. I have also went and picked up a few people that have called me and said they broke down or just ran out of gas. I am just glad I can help.

LOL I know what you mean.... I was riding a Buell and could not keep up no matter how far I twisted the throttle. So when they did stop and I caught up, I told Greg PLEASE slow down because I can't keep up. I ended up making him trade bikes with me... hehehehe...
