Thumbs up Who wants to ride this weekend??? (dirtbikers)

Allright pussies lets go ride!! Everytime I post one of these threads everyone pusses out so lets actually get out there this time. I'm thinking of either going to 360 and trinity (close and free) or Rip Charr in Weatherford. Sat. morning would be good for me but if we need to go Sun. that's cool to. Post up!!!

boondoxxx is alright, for a beginner like myself...they have some nice trails and some nice beginner tracks. $10 all day isn't too bad.

I still haven't even washed my bike. I was so busy yesterday I didn't get a chance...I may end up washing it in the dark sometime this week since it's dark when I get home from work.

Steven and I are going and no, we haven't bought our tickets yet. I couldn't find an online link to buy tickets at nor could I get in touch w/ a human being when I tried to call Studio Movie Grill.

Is the only way to buy tickets in advance to actually go to Moto Liberty and buy them?

pretty sweet, but where would you ride it? The price tag is so high, you wouldn't want to mud it, and if you run it at 100 there could be bug and dirt issues...

dont

go for an R6 or a CBR600RR

the RR has a smaller engine then the 6R, so if youre dead set on kawi, go for the 6R

Elvis: You can be my Wingman, anytime

Fun ride man. Let's do it again one day. I"ll slow down so you can catch up to a Squid, next time.

Seriously, I like how you ride. Fast but, safe and controlled. Nice turns. How did a Squid like me perform in the turns on the road I picked out? Excuse that one in YOUR territory that I didn't quite know the turn and went in TOO hot. Whohoo. I had to get on the brakes and still keep it leaned over or I would've been over that curb lightly. Glad I was only going 15mph. (Seriously, guys I was only going 15mph in that curve)

And quit throwin' rocks at me, Paul.

So where did you guys ride? I agree, I like Paul's riding style. Safe but controlled. There was one turn on the Grandbury trip on Hwy. 4 where we were following Paul and the 3 of us behind him went into a turn pretty hot. I had to get on the brakes pretty hard and stay on them all the way through the turn (riding on the rear brakes).

Glad you guys had fun, I'm outa here in 45 minutes and I need to clean up my bike for the weekend. I plan on riding to work in the morning and hitting up 360 from 114 all the way down to 287 and then some other roads I've been looking at

We checked out a great road in Irving that i knew of and a few others in Coppell/Grapevine that Elvis knew of. There was one moment when we were balls hanging out that I went over a small crest (I could still see over it for a good distance) so we kept in it and I caught an awesome power wheelie. Poor, Elvis, the R1 ate him up from 10 bike lengths back. What I respected about Paul, was that, like me, we never ever sped over hills we always sat up and braked hard.

Good riding.

I enjoyed the heck out of the road that I knew of. I think he liked it also. Alot of good turns and I was handling that bad boy! hahahaha

Sorry, man. I didn't know how to answer that. I'm used to talking major smack, when I used to drag race my Trans Am. When I tried to talk smack (in lighthearted fun) in the Bike World, I've found sensitive people in this world. I was getting comments like "oh you're just a squid" "oh I choose to do this with my bike and you can't tell me how to do it". I mean it just wasn't fun anymore. So I chilled out.

So, I see you like to have light-hearted fun. So here goes............I doubt you could hold me. I don't get owned. hahahahaha
