It's getting close to that time again - the year is amost over. Winter is right around the corner, the time that most of us do our "upgrades" for next year..

For me, I bought my old blue car back. Sold the red car. Blue car is already running, but needs suspension work which will be coming over the winter. It'll get a new front end, cage, and some rear end work.

The 306 will get sold and changed to something fresh ;)

What's on your list?

That red car was sweeeeeeet too :(

Times are tough though, I hear ya. No car for me right now, my garage is empty but the wife is starting a new job in a week so hopefully I can start shopping around for a new ride next spring. Im thinking a 90-92 camaro or 98-02 trans am with a smallish (cough cough T6 cough cough ) turbo setup :D . 90% street and 10% track this time around.

Fix my wheel maybe, maybe a new turbo, finish the fuel system, new clutch, new input shaft, etc. etc. Hope for 500hp on pump, who knows on e85.

Rear upper/lower control arms, Lakewood drag shocks with drag springs. Aluminum driveshaft, Mac cat back, shorty headers, gt40 heads/intake. New wheels and tires. Build my other 8.8 up. Fix my shock tower and fender. And a few other things.

Im shooting for low 8s on radials.

Upgrade to a moly 10 pt. cage, the 6pt. currently in it is heavy as hell. Work on the suspension and lighten the car up some. And, hopefully, get some interest going in a stickcar racing series. Us stickcar guys need a place to race!

Now that I finally got my new setup finished, thanks to Tony (Econodrag) I plan on some test and tune the rest of the year, and get the coupe wrapped before the cold sets in and cover her up for the winter.

I pulled my 4.30s out and put in 3.73s now I can cruise the hwy. I cant afford to go fast anymore atleast not every weekend. I like to just cruise and get the thumbs up from the old guys.

I am shooting to have my 1988 IROC Camaro up & running. I have been in a very slow process of restoring it & things are looking up for it come 2011 KNOCK ON WOOD!

THE RAT sits in the back yard with a car cover over it till I have $10,000 grand together to bring it back. It needs
New Transmisson $3200
Converter Flushed $200
Stock Rockers & sell the Harland Sharps. I like the stock rockers better!
Convert to Stock Leather Seats
New front clip & both front fenders
Car buffed & hit all around for nicks
BRAND NEW SET TTIIs Powder Coated Black with the chrome lip & new tires with 315 Mickey Thompsons out back
Custom Tune

But THE RAT wont be back till I can afford to do the above! Which all depends on getting equipment & a SCAG 61inch 27 Hp Zero Turn mower & start networking in Rockwall more. Once I get that mower & more customers & explore in to custom sprinkler systems, That is when I will bring my baby back to life. I will just have to enjoy my slow IROC for now which is just fine by me. Cause going fast costs ALOT of money & I just dont have it right now to blow on racing, But I suspect I will be back out there down the road!
