The guys who run those classes don't use nittos. They use m/t et streets or bfg DRs.

Drag radials will without a doubt hook providing you have the suspension for it and enough power to get the front end up.

I was simply stating that nittos hook just as well.....basically in reference to your comment at the car meet where you said nittos don't hook for shit. And no shit about the suspension. I tried mentioning that but your the almighty fox know it all.

Tits or GTFO

Oh wait..... You've done both already

No one runs nittos in those classes. For the reason of them not hooking.

Nittos work fine with low power, once you make power, nittos tend to slip.

Ask anyone.

He is just butt hurt because nittos suck, and thats his favorite tire. There is a reason no one runs them. Pre MT DR, No one used nitto either. It was the BFG DR and then the MT Drag radial. And you are right, nittos are ok on the street, but take them to the track, with a car with power. I dont care how much you play with tire pressure, launch, and suspension your gonna still bark them out of the hole.

kinda like clints tranny. I do believe I said long before the project started it wouldnt work. I know my stuff. Like I said I have been build fox cars with my dad since early 98. I have alot of different combos over the years, and I know alot about autos what will work and wont work. My first 3 fox cars were autos. And for all you haters my wife is hot so what. Haters be hatin. And the only reason I am posting on here, I saw the TTT5 video and I missed going last night with friends, because I was working all day. I saw the second video which was this thread. I saw rustyretard calling me out for what I said about how nittos are God. We will see what clints car runs. I have already told him my prodictions.

There are lots of tires that will stick better then a nitto on the track but if you drive your car on the street and ever in the rain none of the other DR's handle as well or are as safe . My wife drives all my cars and sometimes in the rain so I use them .on the street . I run ET's on the track .

I agree they are good for the street, but I never could get them to bit right. They pissed me off so bad one night I went home and got my slicks. Its not just my car, I knew several people running them on street night at tx raceway and they never got them to bit right. If you have to run a DR the MT is the tire of choice now days. and it shows on TTT5 night. My buddies ran BFG's when they first started, then went to the MT when they came out.

I saw your prediction and you need to know I never looked at his tranny until we pulled the motor . I know the one he had wouldn't work as soon as I saw it but I told him we would make it work . You may have thought I ment his tranny but what I ment was we would make something work . You don't know I have a warehouse full of parts and cars and pallets full of trannys c4 , c6 , aod and fmx as well as standards . I am glad you have had so many cars and enjoyed the hobby since 89 . I have been building cars ( all makes and models) since I was 17 and I have learned a little along the way . I'm almost 40 now and enjoy helping guys like 80 and Rusty get there projects done and teaching them how to do it . I have never been much of a car trader . I like to build and keep them and that why I have 14 right now and 6 are fox stangs .

This is a rare occasion I didnt build a motor. The house I live in was where a great mechanic lived. He taught me how to work on 5.0's. He worked on all of the city of arlingtons cars. Including the 5.0. I also have another neighbor that is crazy and before our falling out, taught me how to build wicked street motors, SBC-BBF. I have also had help over the years, as well as my dad teaching me alot of shit. I still dont know it all, especially with 4.6 cars. I know the 5.0 but not the 4.6 simply because I never wanted one, because to me they were gut less. The last motor 347 I did, my crazy neighbor and I did it in my garage. About the only thing I am not good at is setting stud mounted roller rockers. Hopefully clints car runs good. I still believe he would like the 5 spd better, but thats just my .02.

I agree on the 5 speed but he would need more $ for that . As it stands now Clint has very little in his build and I think its gonna run good . With a little stall and spray I think it will run great in that light little coupe . We can do a 5 speed when he has the $ .

If he is gonna run a stall I would say just build that c4 and with a decent stall it ought to run alright. Did yall swap gears as well? Im not sure what gears it came with.

Yes , his 7.5 has 2.73 gears and an open diff . I have a posi diff and a set of 3.45's we are throwing in it . I think he would rather save the money for the build on the tranny for the 5 speed swap . Being a daily it would be allot beter on gas and he will have to upgrade the rear soon also . The stock stalled auto should keep the 7.5 alive for a while .

The stock stalled auto should keep the 7.5 alive for a while .
Yeah the 7.5 will live as long as sticky tires dont take it. the 7.5 is as tough as a 10 bolt.

Thats why I said the stock stall will help . My 79 cobra has a stick and a 7.5 with 3.27's and with a pretty stock motor ran 8.1-8.3 on stickies and its still alive . I have busted 7.5's with stock motors and street tires to . I guess we will see .

Yes that is true, but given that Derick runs the class you think he disqualified himself?

My buddy had some Indy Profile Mickey Tompsons on his 91 Chevy truck, it would pull the wheels up just a little bit.

Wanna see my care face?

Really bashing clint, more like trying to give him suggestions, and your one to talk, every post clint posted on FB you were running your mouth at me. At first I didnt know who the fuck it was then I saw the redneck hillbilly picture of yourself. 8.50s is gonna take you far buddy. Keep dreaming maybe one day you can run with the real boys. And keep running those nittos, you will go far in the ET. Maybe you should let dumpy drive that POS, I bet he could turn a 8.30 with it. Dumpy no offense with the last statment. Im sure yall will work the bugs out. Its not as easy to a 4 cylinder convert. At least its carb. Clint will be happy with any gain over 88 hp lol.

Tits or GTFO

Oh wait..... You've done both already
Nittos don't work near as well as M/Ts.

Derek doesn't run TTT5, that's Cedric. Derek was DQ'd for crossing the center line and almost mashing Jim, lol

Was it just me or was the left lane not hooking right? I know I have seen it at tx raceway too.

I don't run the class and yes I got runner up cause I crossed the centerline if I would of seen his redlight I would of let out but I didn't know. All I could do is peddal the car and hold on plus use another tool in the car to help it come down. Should have it at the track Friday night
