Shit last time I was there a 6.60 car could not get down the track safely. That is one scary place to try to get a quick car down. Maybe call it a smashem' up nationals.

I have run consistant low 7s on that track. There is a bad dip in the right towards the end & its scary if you hit it wrong. Just stay in the left lane if your running in the low 6s

Crandall sucks too, a little prep for a 25 dollar charge at T-N-T would be nice!

Out of the hundreds of passes I made there maby 3 were in the right lane. My car would go 5.90/6.0s with 700psi in the bottle with 60s in the low 1.30s. Any more pressure and it would spin at 1/2 track. That was on a 28x10.5 on a 10 inch wheel. If you can drive your car there you can drive it anyehere.

With that said, Cedar Creek is by far the most fun track in dfw when there are a lot of people there. There was plenty of money to be made there. Just remember to BYOG (glue). My car never left the shop without a Gatorade squirt bottle full of vht behind the seat.

5.20s on a big tire is a walk in the park, even at the creek.

I have ridden shot gun in this truck to the tune of a 5.60 at the creek. Felt just fine.....Yes there is a little dip, big deal. Moose Jr. won our first annual browns event putting serious daylight under the front tires- IN THE RAIN-. If you are too scared to bring it just don't. I will be there pilled to kill.

Stick cars are fun at the creek! As was said above. If you can drive at the creek you can drive anywhere.

it was a 29.5 x10.5 x 15 then. Summer only one car from the bad boys showed the rest where creek cars. Randy Jock had Richie Prices blue camaro out there went about 200 feet on the back wheels and the input shaft broke in the tranny. Harold Malone was the fastest of the night with a 5.39. Big Johnny THE ONLY BAD BOYS CAR TO SHOW went about 200 feet on the rear bumper and went towards the center line on the rear bumper and lifted. Randy said the track was hooking better than crandel was at pinks.

Wow so the track was hooking and there could have been a wheelstanding contest. I heard two 5 second cars showed and ran. They said it was slow night. Thanks for the info.

You are right on the car count. However, I heard the complete opposite about the track conditions. My dad said it hooked for about 60 ft. and it was a spinfest anywhere after that. No suprise there. Richie Price's blue and white camaro was there but, they never made a pass. They would have been much better off to run this on a Saturday night. At least that would have given Danny some time to round up enough VHT to spray at least half the track!

I don't think Dannys tractor will make it past the 60' mark. lol But it was good for the creek a couple creek cars made there best pass ever one was a 5.39 and the other was a 5.77. Randy did make an attempt in Richies car but broke the tranny. I wish mine would have been back together. O well maybe next time.
