Broke car tonight

Well broke the Green 98 after two years of hard racing. Not that bad but bad enough that I will pull the motor out. Chris I will let you know what it was that gave up. The juice is hard on them!

No to the forged. Was a all stock 02 motor with less than 60,000 miles. The last two years with some hard running with a 125 dry shot. Best time on this was at Denton with a 7.58 with a 1.58 60 foot.

Not bad at all on a stock motor! I hope mine doesn't let go, but it is a forged shortblock. I dont know if I told you my screen name on here the other day, this is Derrick with the red Cobra. I met you out at Mike's shop when I came to pick up my trans.

New forged motor in the works to be build during the winter months. 2007 F150 motor installed it now and I am going to run the Muscle Car Challenge this evening with it. I am not going to push the matter so I am going to just run it on motor today. I will get it in for a tune on the juice next week.

Well with the junk yard motor with 30 G's it ran 8.84, 8.84 and 8.82 on all motor. I am now ready for the wet shot. We will be working on that this coming week. No more dry shot.

Most hyper piston cars that I have helped work on have never had a problem running a 150 or less. It's all in the tune.

Ah I see. Ideally, I'd like to run a wet system on mine but Im not too hot on the idea of sending fuel through that maze they call an intake. I've been tossing the idea back and forth about buying one of those on 3 turbo kits but I've heard good and bad about them so I havent really decided for sure yet.

That is unless hell freezes and someone comes out with a direct port setup for a 96-98 4v.

If you like junk china "stainless steel" as well as not getting all the advertised pieces in the kit you paid for, go for it.
