Thought I would start a thread to get some idea's on potential sleepers in a deep league. I'm talking about 2nd stringers or rookies that could make an impact. I need to make a couple of moves to improve my poor draft results.

What ya think of these?
E. Royal - Denver WR
R. Meechum - Saints WR
T. Williamson - Jags WR
B. Jackson - Packers RB
T. Hightower - Cards RB

Royal will have a great first few weeks while Marshall is out.

Domenik Hixon NYG-wr

Thought about Mendenhall, but Pitt has the hardest schedule this year. Ray Rice could be a steal, but the word is out on him. Same goes for Deshaun Jackson (Philly WR), and Ricky Williams. Slaton has good potential especially playing behind A. Green. Thinking about picking up A. Rodgers (GB) as a 2nd QB.

I took Rodgers in the 15th, as a back up to Garrard. I think Garrard is going to be a good sleeper as well, for being among the average crowd in the QB's this year. He went 18-3 last year, with no receivers. They picked up some talent at the WR position, so I'm hoping he will pull through for me. I've got him in two of my 3 leagues.

Depending on whether or not that shored up the O-Line this year, that might not matter much. I'm cautiously optimisitic, as it can't get much worse than it was last year.

Wasn't 06 a worse season for you guys than 07? I know it was for Roethlisberger. Not sure about the team as a whole.
Well, Roethlisberger's 36(?) interceptions kinda sealed their fate that year. lol

One of my leagues gives return yardage credit (10 yds = 1 pt on punts; 25 yds = 1 pt. on kickoffs). We added this last year on draft day. I got Nate Burleson with my next to last pick. Branch and Hackett were down most of last year, and he ended up playing a lot of WR and returning kicks. He finished the league as the #7 WR.

This year I picked up Leon Washington and Ted Ginn in double digit rounds. It looks like Ginn will be the #1 WR in Miami. I'm very happy with that pick. I also got Jamal Lewis in round 5  How does that happen. I like my team in this league. I still have 2 drafts to go.

QB1: Brady
QB2: Bulger
RB's: Larry Johnson, Ryan Grant, Reggie Bush, Jamal Lewis, Leon Washington, Kolby Smith
WR's: Calvin Johnson, Dwayne Bowe, L. Coles, Ginn, D. Mason
DEF: New England
K: Vinateri
TE: M. Lewis (JAX) with my very last pick. Watch for him this year - big red zone target and now has a full season under his belt.
