My old unit

I just heard my old unit NMCB (Naval Mobil Contruction Battalion)
4 is out side of Baghdad with the Marines. Just strange to
see them in the middle of that mess. I KNOW they will do there
best!

Thumbs up Awesome

My dad was a SeaBee, I was wondering when we were going to see them out there. I was born and raised on a SeaBee base...Port Hueneme. I believe my dad was NMCB 4 also. Maybe not, that was MANY moons ago.

I was there.

I am glad to see them in action and VERY proud of them and
to have that in my past. They will do there job and then some.

I was reading about them in the Ventura county news....
Ventura county fair & dirt track only true figure 8 track I ever
saw. CRAZY races to say the least.

We moved from there when I was in Junior high, so I dont remember any fun stuff. Iv'e slept since then. I do remember the bee on the museum. One time a guy in San Diego that I was dating said guys from his ship stole the bee as a practical joke.
