Tinfoil hat is going to giddy..

Yea, these e-voting machines are really going to fix our election system.

Next thing you know, we'll be dipping our fingers in ink.

As you can see in the video, Relyea is trying to cast his vote for Rick Perry, the Republican candidate for Governor (I know, I know). But when he presses his finger to Rick Perry's name, the machine selects Deb Shafto—the Green Party's candidate. And not just her, either: the Green Party candidates for each of the other offices are also selected. He tries again, and the same thing happens. Isn't that, you know, a little bit weird?

All men should know Honor first, above all else!

Honor is not holding your hand out for something you did not earn.
Honor is not forcing your ideas, or belief on others.
Honor is not something given to you by way of job, or title.

Honor is learned, earned, practiced and respected by all decent men and women.

Our government needs our help, they have an addiction. Our government is addicted to our money. Since they always have our best interest at heart it's time we return the favor. We need to have an intervention, for the governments own good of course. It's just irresponsible for us to let people with a known money addiction continue to handle our money. Lets have an intervention now so we can help these sick individuals.

Got a dollar that those machines are nasty and not properly cleaned either. Sweaty ass fingers and shit really jack with that stuff. All of which are the responsibility of the people in charge of them.

Maybe space out the options a little too if possible. Dunno, stuff seems pretty basic to make sure there is not an error due to improperly maintained equipment and people not understanding the intricacies of touch screens. (not that they should to be able to vote)

Voting is one of the few things I want to remain analog. The bigger the pain in the ass it is the harder it will be to rig.

The best idea I've seen yet is to do paper ballots that are counted electronically. Voters get a receipt with a confirmation number on it that will be published in an official count. It's totally anonymous, but you can verify that your votes were recorded correctly.

If you find that a vote is wrong, you raise the issue, they go back and check the paper ballot and revise the official count. Rinse and repeat as necessary.

It accomplishes counting the vote quickly and still protects the integrity of our elections better than what they are doing now.
