Eight of the 16 are in Texas. Ft. Worth is #1 and Dallas is #5.

I had no idea Huntsville had that many opportunities. When I got out of the Army in 99/00 I had a clearance and my now wife lived there. Houston and Dallas were the only places with jobs.

Huntsville really is not a bad place to live IMO.

looks like the X-factor for most of those cities was federal jobs

I hate to say it, but I nearly agree. Not necessarily federal jobs, but definitely federal spending.
