Funny stuff! Carter took a severe ass-whipping in '80. I think he had less than 50 electoral college votes (6 states?). Other than this assclown we now have, he's by far the worst POTUS in my lifetime. The nation (and the world) lost total confidence in him, and the only defense he and his pundits could give, was that he "inherited issues from another administration" that he couldn't fix. Sound familiar?

I think carter is a very smart man, and he may have been the last free president not under the control of special interest groups or goldman sachs.

Obama's problem is the exact opposite he sold out to the very ideas he campaigned against and that is why his approval rating has dropped so bad so fast

Every single President since the Federal Reserve was established has been under control of "special interest groups"

Our government needs our help, they have an addiction. Our government is addicted to our money. Since they always have our best interest at heart it's time we return the favor. We need to have an intervention, for the governments own good of course. It's just irresponsible for us to let people with a known money addiction continue to handle our money. Lets have an intervention now so we can help these sick individuals.

you have a point there, but you can also argue that carter didnt act on a lot of issues regarding other special interests

The man was totally inept. Again...were you there? Just like this current clown, within 2 years, voters knew they had made a horrible mistake, and lost confidence in him.

The only world "leader" more inept than Jimmy Carter was as President was that poor schmuck in Iran, Shahpour Bhaktiar, that took over as Prime Minister for a short time after Carter had essentially urned his back on Shah Reza Pahlavi.

Way to go Carter, you not only shamed us with your pathetic handling of the Iranian hostage crisis, but you facilitated the creation of the Islamic Republic of Iran that we and the rest of the civilized world has to deal with today.

He was damn sure superior in terms least amount added to the national debt compared to every president after him.

Republicans drove the car off the cliff and democrats had to do all of the work getting it back out of the ditch
