O'Donnell's Fundraising Skyrockets

Quote:
Christine O'Donnell's national profile since her stunning win in the Delaware Republican Senate primary has generated a lot more than just laughter and bad poll numbers: Perhaps even more importantly, it's also brought in a lot of money from the conservative faithful.

Actual money is almost $1.77 million as of this morning.

Chris Coons is looking for donations. Delaware seems set to become a pitched battle ground this year.

I saw that this morning. They're calling her, "the next Sarah Palin."

Give me a dollar.

Screw Sarah Palin.... She needs to stay away from that moniker at all costs.

Palin, while a nice person, is a polarizing figure in the arena.

O'Donnell just needs to keep it simple, stress the limitation of federal government and strict adherence to the constitution.

She does that, she wins....

As have ALL politicians. It's not near as bad as the press makes it out to be. I think all people care about is how she will vote.

lets see in the last couple days videos have surfaced where she comes out against masturbation, in another video she talks about she talks about how she use to practice witchcraft and worship satan, and another video she talks about how lying is wrong and that if she was hiding jews in her house and hitler came to the door and asked if there were jews in her house she would not lie to protect the jews from hitler.

I know politicians say stupid things, but come on what US senate candidate has said anything remotely close to this and still won?

"We have to pass it before we know what's in it".....

Oh, I'm sorry, she wasn't campaigning at the time....

Anyways, I'm sure I can find some doozies if I really really looked for stupidity from current Congresscritters..... It's only lathered around the net like whipped cream on top of a sundae.

Not defending O'Donnell, but comon.... shit like this is everywhere.....

For once I have to agree with this guy. Unless all those quotes were taken out of context, which they likely were. That's their favorite thing to do.

Apparently, no one is familiar with Joe Biden's outright lies over the years, not to mention plagiarizing speeches. This is the VP for crissakes! He lied about law school grades and rank, getting scholarship money, etc.

Most of what I've seen on her is out of context, including the masturbation issue. To a lib, it's great, but to clear-headed people, it will be overlooked.

Context man, get some. She said she doesn't diddle. The question was asked in a pointed manner and she said that personally she doesn't do it and has her beliefs about it. It can be said that Obama is against freedom and he's still in office. And with her other statements I'm sure your taking those out of context as well.

Alot of the same people who think she is not qualified to be a Senator for saying she "dabbled in witchcraft" while in HS outright ignored Obama's self admission to snorting cocaine. This country is so F'ed up right now.

A high-schooler that "dabbled" in witchcraft vs. a college militant that snorted coke and became a socialist POTUS. What's your point? In high school, I probably screwed a few "witches"...I can't believe this is even an issue based on all the PROOF we have in our presidents' own words!

Wait a minute now... Islam should be protected in this country because we have freedom of religion right? We should all love and respect islam an muslims and their right to be extremely violent right? So... who would care what "religion" this woman practiced right? Perhaps that was her religion for a while. More liberal hypocrisy.

I've been hearing that she did the whole blood and sacrifice thing and satanism but I just watched the video. She said that one of her first dates was at an altar where there was blood, not that she worshipped like that.

Though I am loving the fact that Islam, who kills PEOPLE is fine, but Wiccans, who worship the earth is not.

MSM and Dems are gonna come down on her hard because A) She's a conservative and B) even worse, she's Tea Party.

Look what they did to Palin. A relative unknown person, the MSM descended on Wasilla with a vengeance looking for any dirt, while Obama and Biden got a free pass, despite all the gaffes those two did on National TV. Obama's all, leave kids out of it. They didn't touch the Obama kids, nor Biden's, but they sure focused on Palin's Downs baby and Britol being pregnant and the way McCain's daughter dressed.

Coons and Castle have plenty of skeletons in the closet, but they (MSM) aren't gonna dig for that.

your not asking for liberals to vote for her, you are asking for conservatives to vote for her.

why is it the tea party keeps shooting themselves in the foot by putting up candidates who have to many "un-electable" traits? is it that hard to find someone who will just say NO to big government with out any other surprises?

You're reaching, which is what all libs are doing right now. Medina was NOT involved in a national election. So EVERY Tea Party candidate has to win, or their not electable? You're world is gonna suck this November 3rd.

Yes, precisely. They're shooting the entire Conservative movement in the foot. Values are all good and all, but when you have the chance to win back Congress and you nominate un-electable candidates for seats you have a good shot at getting, you're hurting yourself.

I don't blame the GOP for not getting behind her. Why put alot of time and effort and money into trying to elect a candidate that is un-electable?

It seems that we forgot what happened the last time Conservatives went purely based on values and not the big picture. Conservatives stayed home and the Democrats took over Congress, and instead of nominating candidates that thinks and acts the same, they nominated "electable" candidates in Red-States and ended up winning those Red States.

This "movement" is about FISCAL conservatism...nothing more, nothing less. There are all walks of life that want the spending to stop. Again, you can run and hide, but this freight train is coming and there's not a helluva lot that anyone can do about it.

I recall Clinton admitting to smoking dope, but not inhaling. I do not recall Bush actually admitting he used cocaine like the Messiah has, although I am sure he probably did.

Good point about asking conservatives. But, at the same time, you have to realize what a conservative really is. They (most of them) have something that most liberals can't actually conceive. A system of core values. If they are part of the majority of conservatives, they are likely religious in some way, probably christian. What does christianity teach? Forgiveness. Now I'm not saying that they're going to forgive every dildo who claims to represent them. That's not my point. My point is, it wasn't said in the video that she "was currently a practitioner of witchcraft". It said "her first date". Now when the hell do you think that bitch's first date was? When she was 35? Or when she was just a young, dumb, teenager like we all (including you) have been?

Remember, we're talking about conservatives here. The more wholesome, family based types with a strong set of core values. So they know something about kids and raising kids, and when kids are acting like kids. Point being, many of them may not necessarily hold it against her. I don't. I don't know if I would vote for her, cause I don't know much about her policies and views. I havn't heard her speak on any issues. But I can tell when someone is talking about something they did when they were but a lowly dumbass teenager, and would never do again. So its plain to see that they just want to shit on her, and not actually address any issues that she may bring to they table. Business as usual for the liberal propaganda machine.

It is puzzling to me that almost everyone thinks we need to change the people we send to DC, but when someone who is different comes along, they are not qualified enough or have a weird background. Hell, look what has happened to us with these lifelong politicans who were groomed for office at a young age from both sides.

If you truly want change we will have to have some Jesse Ventura's, Sarah Palin's, Christine O'Donnell's, and others like her. If not, we will just carry on with the Clinton's, Bush's, Obama's, McCain's, etc.

I have to agree with a quote from former Treasury Secretary William E. Simon: "Bad politicians are sent to Washington by good people who don't vote."

I would love to see some normal Americans who have actually lived a normal life as an American. In other words... some people who have made mistakes in life, people who have had to learn life lessons like the rest of us. People who can actually admit to messing up before.

I am sick of these career politicians who grew up in a political family and do not have a clue about the average American.

Yes, but she doesn't have a ghost of a chance of winning in Delaware and the polls said that even before she was nominated. In fact, she's down in the polls more now, than she was before she was nominated. In a time where the Senate can be taken away from Dems., you go with the sure thing. So the end result of going for a fiscally Conservative, en-electable candidate over someone who's not so Fiscally Conservative, is that the fiscally Conservative Candidate will end up losing to the guy who's the least Fiscally Conservative of the three.

Nobody's perfect, but hey at least its generally perceived that we try to raise kids in a good environment. What, you would call a couple of fags raising a kid to be a wholesome family? haha yeah you probly would

I don't want the Dems to lose the senate this time around. Pick up about 7 seats, let the libs keep it, then in '12 (when there are far more dems up for re-election in the senate), take it all.

It's more important to stay true to the conservative right now, even if they lose.

Absolutely! I think the RINO's will get back to conservatism (Check out McCain all of a sudden) during the next two years to try and save their hides, and then we can get rid of all the Democraps and the Republicans who are not part of the conservative program.

and then there is paladino, who call him self a tea partier, but also wants to grow government, turns out he has a porn fetish.
Have you noticed that Paladino is now only 6 points behind Cuomo?
