I think they should be held accountable and have to pay with interest first, before any other taxpayer has to file.

Will it happen, nope!

I think every tax payer can agree with that.

Our government needs our help, they have an addiction. Our government is addicted to our money. Since they always have our best interest at heart it's time we return the favor. We need to have an intervention, for the governments own good of course. It's just irresponsible for us to let people with a known money addiction continue to handle our money. Lets have an intervention now so we can help these sick individuals.

Evidently, the people on that committee are blind and mentally retarded too.

I bet HUD employees owe a lot more than that if they claimed all the appliances they stole and sold on craigslist.

How do you know that goes on? Wouldn't it be blamed on the previous occupant?

I owe the IRS $630.00 for under reported income for 2008. I sent them a money order for that amount on August 14th which they cashed on August17th, so imagine my surprise when I get a notice yesterday that they did not receive my payment. I called yesterday and they said they will look into it and I should call back in 45 days to see if it posted. So I guess I am part of the federal(Army) percentage of dead beats.

Yeah I would guess that much of the money that the IRS is owed, is due to their own incompetence. I know I throw that word around a lot, but if I had to describe any government institution or agency in one word, that's the one I'd use. Incompetent.

Wonder how a racial breakdown of this would look ? Sorta like how we use quota systems and affirmative action. The people have a right to know I think.

You could probly just use that list and turn those people in with the IRS's snitch program, and collect the reward.
