i agree with this post 100%.
has anyone ever been to the WWII museum in New Orleans? Its awesome...one corridor has posters of the war propaganda from the Americans, Germans and Japanese...when this country was actually full of pride it was ok to depict Germans as evil devils and Japs as slant eyed freaks.
now we cant even kill our enemies without our soldiers and Marines going to trial for it. this country has gotten so weak...why hasnt someone gone ahead and invaded? oh wait the invasion has started...
Yeah, it really is sad isn't it? I actually have a great deal of concern about this and it just adds to my normal day to day stress because I just can't get over how this country has changed, and it actually is a cause of stress for me everyday.
I mean, think about how we were in WWII. We were in a depression going into the war and WWII actually jump started our economy. Tons of jobs were created even in the private sector (wonder why no one made cars from 41-45? because they were making war machines, Ford, GM and so on....) and we emerged as the largest super power in the world.
When the citizens and the economy were truly involved in war, our economy was booming. Not to mention that people had morals.
The American spirit was to just get it done at all cost and we ended up at the highest point in our history because of that attitude. And now we are on a downward spiral.
Sometime I feel as if I was born 60 years too late. There is a reason for the term "Greatest Generation."

(thats right, in a fucking duel with guns, Jackson allowed his oppenent to fucking shoot at him before shooting back). Now we have Obama, who is a little bitch. God damn the presidency of the US is just not the same as it used to be.
