That's smoke you see curling from the barrel of that revolver...

"NEW YORK – Two private investigators working independently are asking why President Obama is using a Social Security number set aside for applicants in Connecticut while there is no record he ever had a mailing address in the state.

In addition, the records indicate the number was issued between 1977 and 1979, yet Obama's earliest employment reportedly was in 1975 at a Baskin-Robbins ice-cream shop in Oahu, Hawaii.

WND has copies of affidavits filed separately in a presidential eligibility lawsuit in the U.S. District Court of the District of Columbia by Ohio licensed private investigator Susan Daniels and Colorado private investigator John N. Sampson.

The investigators believe Obama needs to explain why he is using a Social Security number reserved for Connecticut applicants that was issued at a date later than he is known to have held employment.

See the movie Obama does not want you to see: Own the DVD that probes this unprecedented presidential eligibility mystery!

The Social Security website confirms the first three numbers in his ID are reserved for applicants with Connecticut addresses, 040-049.

"Since 1973, Social Security numbers have been issued by our central office," the Social Security website explains. "The first three (3) digits of a person's social security number are determined by the ZIP code of the mailing address shown on the application for a social security number."

The question is being raised amid speculation about the president's history fueled by an extraordinary lack of public documentation. Along with his original birth certificate, Obama also has not released educational records, scholarly articles, passport documents, medical records, papers from his service in the Illinois state Senate, Illinois State Bar Association records, any baptism records and adoption papers.

Robert Siciliano, president and CEO of IDTheftSecurity.com and a nationally recognized expert on identity theft, agrees the Social Security number should be questioned."

He could sprout horns and a tail and start shooting fire out of his eyes and he'd still be POTUS. All the evidence in the world isn't going to change the fact that he was elected and sworn in as POTUS. He's not the first president to have some holes in his ancestry.

Concentrate on attacking his policies and actions, not his past. Everyone knew he was a drug user, was raised in Indonesia and spent the last 20 years listening to a reverend that hates America. We also knew about his real estate fraud, past dealings with known criminials and his association with known terrorists yet he was still elected.

Did you see the website IDTheftSecurity.com; it is just a crappy website trying to sell videos.

Some actual proof does need to come out, because this horse has been beaten.

Past has nothing to do with it. The whole Constitutional rule of HAVING to be a born-in-country USA citizen, is what's going on here.

Chester A. Arthur's dad was Irish and he himself was likely either born in Ireland or Canada. He served a full term and ended up being a great president.

My point is that he's already been sworn in, by John Roberts no less. Roberts is the utmost authority on the constitution and is a hard core conservative. I really think these birther discussions being propogated by liberals to distract conservatives and keep them from doing things that might actually accomplish something.

Goes to show just how desperate the american majority was. They would have voted for anyone instead of another republican president.

Republicans drove the car off the cliff and democrats had to do all of the work getting it back out of the ditch

Ignorance and great marketing ≠ desperation. I doubt Obama would have won if the GOP had a viable candidate.

I hardly consider 31% of eligible voters as an ‘American majority’. 27% of eligible voters voted for McCain and 41% were so apathetic or disgusted that they elected to stay home.
