NY = Greece, atleast similar

Quote:
The state Legislature on Monday authorized unprecedented furloughs to deal with the state's fiscal crisis because its powerful public worker unions have rejected every request for contract concessions since last fall.

Lol, they will suck the state dry if they had their choice. Same as Greece. Don't worry, this is all just getting started, five years from now unionized public workers will be a national crisis.

This will play out in the next year in all states and cities with unions demanding higher taxes to pay for their benefits. Hopefully the taxpayers and voters take notice.

LOL! Suck it, Union 'tards! Don't want less pay? How about NO pay!
Quote:
a furlough would cost about $267 a week, which they wouldn't get back under Paterson's plan. The unions had previously rejected a request to temporarily delay their annual 4 percent raise, worth about $53 a week for the average worker.

HAHAHA!!
I see the same mentality from the union at my employer. Any change that might negatively impact the union member such as productivities increases are shot down. Their idea of negociation is accept all the union ideas reject all the business ideas. All or nothing.

Well, my pay decreased 100%, so I don't really have any sympathy for those fuckers.
