Frost and others... good news for our boys!

VA is reopening old fies from the Gulf War with a "fresh, bold new look."

Badass. This is just as good as them admitting guilt. That can only be good for your cause.

With all due respect, I hope you guys dont expect the VA to do anything or admit anything. I see my step dad go to the VA weekly and he has boils popping up on his skin all over the place and tumors and all kinds of other crap caused by agent orange. One Dr says its agent orange killing him, then the higher ups deny it so they dont have to pay him. Its a never ending loop but all his vietnam buddies have the same symptoms, just not as bad because they all did one tour and he did 2.

Its pretty sad and I hate to hear about any soldier having to come back with any lifelong illness's.

This would be a step towards getting the VA to take appropriate action to care for the needs of our vets. This could also lead to policy change, and God willing, attitude change over there. The VA is under strict instruction to differ fault and not treat accordingly in some cases just to show that they think there isn't a problem. It's a sick game to play with people's lives who have served this country. Any pain in the VA's neck is a win in my book. Fuck 'em all.

When I was in medical school and residency I did some of my training at VA hospitals...and the way that those vets were treated is ridiculous. Nursing staff have tenure and cannot be fired regardless of how careless they are...they get substandard care and are basically treated like shit. Dont let anyone tell you any differently. I hope something comes of this...that system needs a major overhaul.
