What the hell is going on in AZ?!?!

JD Hayworth is officially challenging McCain for his seat? Is this guy fucking nuts? McCain will wax his ass in the primary, let alone anyone going against him on the Dem side. Jeez... talk about pulling a Pat Puke-cannon.

McCain has gone too far left. A conservative needs that seat

Palin is in on her way to campaign for him. She's got a hell of a following right now. The people of AZ love him. He's also taken some strong stances for the Republican Party as of late. Current polls show a 22 point lead for this primary.

He's pretty close in the polls and the people of AZ have apparently watched Tombstone as a group and are wanting to treat the politicians like Johnny Tyler.

I have a feeling McCain will get with the program and be the conservative he needs to be to get us on the right path from now on. I sure hope he has learned that tryting to work with the crooked liberals is not going to work for him.

I can't see the reason that Palin is behind MCCain. Gun control pro illegal alien rino.

Hayworth has Sheriff Joe Arpaio in his corner.

I have a feeling she is just showing some loyalty and trying to repay him for all he did for her. McCain is a decent and honorable man and that carries alot of weight for those of us who think like she does.

Hayworth has spotted a vulnerability I think. People may be getting tired of mccain since he represents a lot of what has been going on in DC. He has been burned many times by the left, and he is not a true conservative. The keating 7 scandal showed a lack of good judgement. The mood of this country is to jettison the career pols and get some new blood in place.

Watch this race, I believe it will prove very interesting.

Man, if McCain gets voted out there won't be any Dems who stay. I like McCain but he should have known better than to try and appease the liberals.

If I was running for anything, and Palin offered her support, a curt no thank you would be my response. She should shut the fuck up already.

I think Palin would be exactly what this country needs. If she runs I will support her wholeheartedly.

Palin is the best choice for where I'd like to see our country heading at the moment (although I would rather it be wrapped in a better package). McCain is a good guy that doesn't see eye to eye on everything I want, but I think he's going to stay on the track of the interests of the people who voted for him from now on.

I have 2 beefs with Palin, her voice needs to be as hot as she is and not so motherly and secondly, she made a retard.

Other than that, I like her.

I haven't compared her voice from the convention last year to any recent interviews, but it sounds like she has really calmed down that accent thing (I call it that becuase I am not sure where it comes from since her parents are not originally from Alaska) she had so deeply at the convention. I bet she has gone to some voice lessons and tried to tone it down some.

She's dumber than a box of rocks dude. What is there to like about her?

Edit: Isn't it a little hypocritical to say you'll vote for her when she's just as inexperienced as Obama was before taking office? You slammed him pretty hard for that. Or do you have some clever bullshit excuse to justify your hypocrisy?

Wow! Kinda harsh, don't you think? I would rather have Palin over Obama, but not hoping for either. At least she's closer in line with my stances, but like I said earlier, I don't like the package it's delivered in. We're going to need someone stronger. My choice still hasn't arrived yet.

I say she isn't dumb, in fact if you knew anything about her you would never say that.

She is more qualified than Obama, which is what I argued.

How funny I predicted my post would be attacked and no solution or person given that was better yet you managed to bring up Obama. I guess you think Obama is better than Palin, huh?

Palin needs to distance herself from McCant........ that guy needs to be shown the door. He's too fucking old, out of touch and clearly can't close the deal. We need hard hitting people in Washington to stand up against the political machine. McCant has had more than his fair share of time to get shit done and has not.

Neither one of them deserve to be POTUS.

But what are these "qualifications" Palin has that make her qualified or at least more qualified than Obama? And don't tell me being governor of a state with less people than the city of Dallas for 2 years is a valid qualification.

If being a governor of a state in the USA is not enough for you, then nothing else she has done or said would be enough for you. You can think she is not qualified, just don;t try and argue that she is LESS qualified than Obama.

Who do you think should be our next President? I choose Fred Thompson, Palin, and Huckabee, as a few of the many examples of some I would vote for.

If it was any other state but Alaska (or Hawaii) I'd agree with you. I think the two are equally unqualified.

I don't have a clue who I'm voting for come 2012. No one stands out to me yet. I don't like the direction the Republican party is headed and I can't bring myself to vote Democrat.

I really dislike using Bush examples, but Bush and co (and the rest of the GOP) were pushing true conservative values too on their way back to the top and instead we saw the biggest increase in government size and power since FDR. They can preach "true conservatism" all they want but until they get into office and prove it to me I'm not gonna bite.

And no, I don't believe being governor of a state of less than 700,00 residents and a massive budget surplus is anymore a qualification than being a junior senator representing Illinois.

Theory was the wrong word. You claim they're going back towards conservative principles based on what? Rhetoric? What have they done besides participate in a partisan gridlock in DC that leads you to believe they're going back to conservative principles? And what gives you any reason to believe it's not a bunch of bullshit since we saw this same scenario 10-12 years ago?

I want conservative candidates who will stand for conservative values and principles. If they don't follow through, they will get voted out just like the ones who will be thrown out this time because they didn't stand for conservative principles. Why is that so hard for you to understand? Maybe becuase you aren't conservative and you will tolerate it like always?
