Judge talks about 16th amendment not being properly ratified in court transcripts

Here's a transcript from a court case where the 16th Amendment is brought into the discussion. The judge makes a reference to it not being amended properly, but goes on to say that no court will likely rule it void. The discussion starts on the last sentence of page 22 and goes on through page 23. http://www.givemeliberty.org/RTPLaws...aJudge16th.pdf

Our government needs our help, they have an addiction. Our government is addicted to our money. Since they always have our best interest at heart it's time we return the favor. We need to have an intervention, for the governments own good of course. It's just irresponsible for us to let people with a known money addiction continue to handle our money. Lets have an intervention now so we can help these sick individuals.

The judge is offering an opinion on the 16th Amendment's ratification but it is totally separate from the actual case. Also, it read to me like it was more of a personal opinion. As for whether it has any basis in reality is another matter. Ya'll can be the judge..

It was his opinion, but what is law and what is perceived to be law are two completely different things. It's nice to hear it come out of judges mouth. Fuck wikepedia, that site is a joke.
