Unemployment peak?

With unemployment climbing past 10% at a steady rate, what do you think the highest percentage we'll see?

For some reason I feel it is going to get to the high teens at the peak, maybe a bit worse. I don't have anything to base this on other than a gut feeling.

^This. It doesn't factor in people that has had benefits that have expired, or those that lost jobs and couldn't file for unemployment. Basically, the number is just those currently getting an unemployment check.

Wait for obama's cronies to again alter what 'unemployed' actually means, to turn the numbers what ever way they choose.

I believe it will be in the 30-40% range at it's peak, but they will never disclose the real numbers, so who knows?

Our government needs our help, they have an addiction. Our government is addicted to our money. Since they always have our best interest at heart it's time we return the favor. We need to have an intervention, for the governments own good of course. It's just irresponsible for us to let people with a known money addiction continue to handle our money. Lets have an intervention now so we can help these sick individuals.

Another thing it doesn't count is all those people who graduate from college and cannot find employment.

They are unemployed, yet since they weren't employed during college, atleast not full time, they aren't considered on the rolls.

What about underemployed. That is a huge number. People who made 50k taking 20k a year jobs isn't too uncommon in todays enviroment.

By Obama's standards, I'm overworking.

But on the white scale, I'm putting in about 6% effort.

Do not place to much emphasis on a lagging indicator.
