Son of a...here's the economy fix!

Damn, Michelle, why didn't we think of this?!?!

Why do I get the feeling we'll start seeing the soda tax like in Illinois and war on oils/salt like in New York.

Fat tax anyone?

Soda is a "luxury item", just like tobacco and alcoholic beverages. I see no problem with taxing it, and I am among those who drinks a fair amount of soda.

What makes it a luxury item? And, why in the hell should the GOVERNMENT be allowed to take money from you because you drink soda? Lets go ahead and tax water too.

You might as well tax fatty beef, because lean beef is more healthy for you and the government needs to promote healthy eating.

Lets mandate that you can only consume light beer because it has less calories.

Lets tax potatoe chips because they have virtually no nutritional value.

You, sir, are one of the people whose decisions will bring this country down. There is absolutely no reason for the Gov. to tax soda other than there greed for tax revenue.

NO NO NO, it should be DFWLS1's, CUMMINS, C6 VETTES.net

Lets just get rid of all taxes and make Goldman Sachs and the FED pay all of them for a few years since they like to swindle the American people regularly. I think it's fair.

Our government needs our help, they have an addiction. Our government is addicted to our money. Since they always have our best interest at heart it's time we return the favor. We need to have an intervention, for the governments own good of course. It's just irresponsible for us to let people with a known money addiction continue to handle our money. Lets have an intervention now so we can help these sick individuals.
