In DC

Well, I'm officially in DC. This town is...out of touch with everything. I just ordered room service because my VA guy told me to. Cheapest thing on the menu? Burger and fries. Total charged to the room? $35.00. I think leviathianitis is contageous.

If you're into it at all, DC has a pretty damn good night life with some tasty womens. How long you there for? I head to the field tomorrow or I'd offer you a beer.

I'm going to hit up the national archives today and today is my last day. I've been running around like crazy and love it. I DID walk through protestors wanting MORE government jobs and I stopped, looked at one with the biggest sign and said

"Let me get this straight. You want government jobs. How do you plan on paying your wage?"

"What do you mean?"

"Well taxes pay your wage and while you're working you pay taxes, but not enough to cover your wage so taxes must go up. Why are you for increased taxes during a depression?"

"We're not! How dare you?! We just want jobs!"

"Really? You truly want jobs because I can make that happen."

"YOu see that building across the road?"

"The Starbucks?"

"Yes."

"Yeah, and?"

"Notice the help wanted sign?"

"Yes?"

"Go in there, ask for a job you'll get one. Welcome to the private sector."

Behave yourself. Your representing more than just yourself.

Hold your head up and speak with confidence.

May God bless you.

All men should know Honor first, above all else!

Honor is not holding your hand out for something you did not earn.
Honor is not forcing your ideas, or belief on others.
Honor is not something given to you by way of job, or title.

Honor is learned, earned, practiced and respected by all decent men and women.

Wow, if I remember right to two Gaylords (Texas and one in Floriday) their burger and fries were only like 20 bucks or something. 35 is insane.

Sorry. I was traveling and I caught the flu and have been fighting it all day. We weren't supposed to have cameras in the West Wing, but me being me, I slid it down my slacks until going through security. When I pulled it out, a SS guy told me "No pictures in here." Sooooo me and my sponsor took off down a hallway to get a picture with the Presidential seal and this huge dude stopped us and said "You're going to have to leave."

No problem. We walked outside and tried to get a picture in front of the White House only to be told AGAIN to leave. Then, while we ignored them and I was picking up the observers on the rooftops, the press asked the SS to move us. So we calmly got escorted to the gate. Damn MSNBC

So much for freedom. Can't even take a picture any more. Gee, I wonder why.

So did you get any questions in?

I got quite a few in but they wouldn't let us talk to the President, he was bouncing around trying to look important with the press at the jobs summit. I got a lot of very..... calm, and relevant questions put to his people, the House and Senate and my favorite thing I said was:

"Senator, I am your constituent. I am their face and right now, I'm their voice. Healthcare, spending and the lack of direction with ROE's is pitiful."
