Way to go Prince. Just keep spending that money on your stupid islands, over priced condos and your extremely overpriced malls.

Sheik Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the chairman of Dubai's Supreme Fiscal Committee, stressed that the call to defer for at least six months at least some of $60 billion owed to creditors by Dubai World, the emirate's chief investment arm, was "carefully planned" and aimed at taking decisive action

"Carefully planned" my ass. The whole business strategy is assinine if you ask me. Why would you build a city in the middle of nowhere? In a country that doesn't allow "immoral" actions. Is gambling legalized in Dubai? I am sure you die if you are found striping or engaging in prostitution. Those two things alone made Vegas popular.

Money will make people turn a blind eye to anything. My friend works on radar systems for other countries and said the lobbies of the nicer hotels are chock full of European hookers.

Prostitution is a big thing in Dubai. They bitches walk the street at will and hangout in the clubs all over town picking up clients. We send all our employees thru Dubai on their way out on R&R (3 x a year). Tons of them partake in the female companionship.

As far as drinking goes, 90% of the hotels have bars and clubs that stay packed all night. There is a huge nightlife in Dubai. That is mainly due to the heat in the daytime people adjust their hours.

I have been there so many times I am sick of the place. If it was not for the great dental care I am getting next weekend I would never leave my hotel until it is time to fly back to the States. But as it stands I have 3 full days at my leisure (dentist and lots of rest).

You are right about the middle of nowhere. Have I said how much I hate that fucking place.

Well that surprises me. The whole hooker thing anyways. I swear I have heard stories of the local government going nuts on that sort of things, guess I was wrong. It still really makes no sense to me. What about the Gambling? Is it legal or not?

I have never seen gambling over there. I don't really want to find out anyways.

The local government is Fucking NUTS, that is for sure. We have several employees in jail there and one in the mental ward.

They are all hypocrites. They drink and bang hookers just like the rest of the world, they just do it behind closed doors. You can hold hands with a dude walking down the street but God forbid you hold your girlfriends hands in public
