Going to DC

I got asked this morning to go talk to the Senate Subcommittee on Veterans Affairs. While having to be professional, I am going to get answers to some of my questions. Anyone have anything they'd like answered?

Pericles "Freedom is the sure possession of those alone who have the courage to defend it. "

"[T]he people alone have an incontestable, unalienable, and indefeasible right to institute government and to reform, alter, or totally change the same when their protection, safety, prosperity, and happiness require it." --Samuel Adams

Wish my uncle was on this website. He would have tons of questions to present to you for them. My cousins death was a direct result of the VA's managment. They refused to schedule him an appointment and when he was on the way to the emerency room of a regular hosptial he died of a blood clot. There is more to it than that, and they paid my uncle alot of money to settle out of court, but they need to get thier shit straight. My mother works at the lancaster location as a case manager and has some stories to tell.

Newbies, please watch THIS before posting.

Just tell them.

We keep our oath to the constitution. Why can't they do the same.

Why does the politicians that set on their ass and send our boys to war get great health care for free, and the men that do the fighting and come back from war get shit on?

All men should know Honor first, above all else!

Honor is not holding your hand out for something you did not earn.
Honor is not forcing your ideas, or belief on others.
Honor is not something given to you by way of job, or title.

Honor is learned, earned, practiced and respected by all decent men and women.

Sounds like the only appropriate questions that you could ask would be the ones directly related to that particular topic. If that's what yall are saying, I mean. It just sounded for a second like yall wanted to ask all kinds of unrelated questions as well.

I think it's going to be fun, or at least educational. I have several questions I want to know about, like the way minorities are treated better than vets and things like that

How about why inmates are given better food than soldiers on deployment. My s/o was in for 16 years. He fought in Desert Storm and in OIF 1.

Rumors have it that after Desert Storm the military had a surplus of rations still in theater, it was deemed too expensive to move them all back to storage, so they offered them to the prison systems and were told that the rations were not adequate for the inmates. How does this seem possible that men and women who fight and sometimes die for their country are fed food that isn't good enough for our worst in society

oops this would be more in line for Active than veteran affairs, sorry
