So NOW the democrats are worried about spending....

It looks like the elections that just happened woke them up LOL....... Obama wants to put a hold on cap and trade and wants to focus on cutting the deficit and creating jobs, which is odd considering all of the spending that has taken place by the dems up to now.

I think that plan is kind of like closing the gate after the cows have gotten out.

That recent poll came out yesterday showing how folks were favoring Reps over 'crats 48%-44%. That hasn't happened in years, and it probably gave them the "runs" last night. Sonuvabitches...

That's not any different than the Republicans acting like they're worried about spending. Apparently America has forgotten about the hilarious amount of spending done under Bush.

We are responsible for both Dem's & Rep's ruining amok, we do nothing when we hear of the ludicrous amount of Pork money they stuff the Bills that they pass.

We have to hold both parties feet & butts to the fire to make sure that they don't get stupid even one more time.

Write letters, go to Tea Parties,Put in a call to all Congressmen, email as you have been doing. Anything that can be done each & ever time some members of Congress or Obama decides to be a dip.

The bowering & spending has got to stop NOW!

We are the only one that can stop it.

We donít need to restore the American Dream; we need to wake up from it.

When the rich run out of money, itís over.

Smile it makes people wonder what you are up to.

Kicking it back to that tired old "but Bush spent money too" whine doesn't help to solve the problem. Obsama has spent more in less time, but again, it matters not.

We need to vote in limits, stop focusing on who is in which party, and get the existing assholes out asap in order to turn this thing around.

Not argue about who has done more damage...

That's my point. Ignoring the fact that the Bush administration spent like a drunk Kennedy doesn't help move any more assholes out of Washington. Conservatives are starting to have very selective memories.

No, we're really not. Bush wasn't a conservative by any means. He started spending like a democrat which lost him that title

I will agree . Don't be a fool though, the numbers say it all and they do not compare. Obama and his croonies have spent us into oblivion , no comparison can be made in all of history to this day. TRIPLE the deficit!
Is this the side you are throwing stones from ?
Whether you like it or not, Republicans are the better choice.
And I do not call myself a republican. Though I would vote with them to remove the greater evil any day.

Moreover to the point of this thread - yes , hilarious now that the administration is trying to reverse it's position of spending. Comical to anyone actually paying attention to how the last year has unfolded. Make no mistake though, it is a political decision to make some attempt to save face at growing discontent.
Will it work? NO
Obama has already given enough talks with no action. People have finally started to see that. I can gratefully say, I do not see this trend changeing, he's fucked.
Thank God!
there are three more years though, and our stupid american brothers have short memories. Look how dumb voters were to elect this unqualified asshat in the first place. I wished i could believe Obama would clean this mess up. Only a total fool would ...

And the bullshit from obama just continues........ from the guy that has already spent billions of our tax dollars......... and has heaped us into debt for years to come. So he's finally figured out that actions have consequences - his spending policies during a recession costs jobs, and a lack of jobs MIGHT mean a lack of reelection. IMO THAT is where the concern is.
