That's interesting. We'll see if the DEA complies. Their current MO is to go into dispensaries and claim that they're in violation of the law, seize their records and analyze them and then figure out if they were actually in violation of the law or not after the fact. Either was, the personal data of thousands of innocent civilians is exposed, their privacy violated and the basic tenants of how law enforcement is supposed to function thrown out the window. Who needs probable cause when you're the government?

I just don't see this being controlled very well. Soon you'll have every other house on the block growing this shit for "medical purposes, or as a distributor".

Nothing is changing in the way the laws exist. Every other house on the block can't grow this "shit" for medical purpose under any existing state law. The only thing that this motion by the Attorney General is saying is that the federal government needs to stop prosecuting dispensaries that are legally operating under the laws of the state in which they exist.

How the fuck do you get every other house on the block growing marijuana for medical purposes out of that statement? Reefer Madness appears to still be doing its job 60 years after the fact...

LOL like it matters
people are smoking all the weed they want to.
go try and find some weed and report back in 15 minutes how hard that was.
The price of beer is so high it's actually cheaper to smoke weed
If most pot smokers had common sense they would see they DON't want the government legalizing it. They would attempt to tax it , like everything else is already.
just wait for soda tax
and 'youre not in shape tax' starts hitting that pocket book for govt run healthcare

As a pot smoker, the illegality of pot is really more of an annoyance than anything.

As a citizen of a country that calls itself "free', the illegality of pot makes me sick to my stomach.

Going after farmer fred is a big waste of resources. They should just make it legal everywhere and tax it, but they like to keep those prisons full of non violent offenders.

Our government needs our help, they have an addiction. Our government is addicted to our money. Since they always have our best interest at heart it's time we return the favor. We need to have an intervention, for the governments own good of course. It's just irresponsible for us to let people with a known money addiction continue to handle our money. Lets have an intervention now so we can help these sick individuals.

Oh look, the federal government has finally recognized the sovereignty of the states after trampling on them for years. Maybe our forefathers will stop spinning in their graves now.

You know how dangerous those potheads are. Always sitting around listening to music and beating up old ladies.

But seriously. Why does our government campaign so hard against a group of people that literally sit inside their houses all day and do NOTHING?

Putting people in jail for minor offenses creates major revenue, true story. Private prisons are big business.
