They do not except FRN's (dollars)

Silver or gold only. I think I'll check the place out.

Awesome.

Our government needs our help, they have an addiction. Our government is addicted to our money. Since they always have our best interest at heart it's time we return the favor. We need to have an intervention, for the governments own good of course. It's just irresponsible for us to let people with a known money addiction continue to handle our money. Lets have an intervention now so we can help these sick individuals.

I called the guy, and talked to him for a min. or 2. I like what he is doing. I think I'll be shopping there.

Fuck the Federal Fiat currency that really is just paper. The dollar is on life support and about to get the plug pulled on it. World currency, CCTV's everywhere, and a total police state are the things coming. Maybe even more bad things with cap and trade, and those INTERNET/hate bills. We have surpassed ridiculous and gone straight to ludicrous speed towards the NWO, and it isn't a coincidence. Every things always done supposedly in our benefit/safety which is what they love to sell. Don't be fooled it benefits them more always, and that is exactly why it's abused.

Mr. Hat, I like you man, but ya got to relax just a little. When you get to the point I am, maybe you will calm down.

To explain this comment.

When you come to the conclusion of what you believe to be the inevitable, is near, you will calm down.

In other words. If it's going to happen.. Fark it, lets do it, I'm ready!

I am a little skeptical about this idea. I don't have a problem with the assumption that Federal Reserve Notes are worthless, but how does an average person with no experience in the value of gold and silver know they aren't getting ripped off? It seems like they could take a sucker like me for a little bit every time I bought some because I have no idea how to value silver. (The only thing I would know to go on is the spot price, but again I know nothing about that either)

Anybody care to educate me?

when you go to their store and convert your dollars to silver, are you converting at spot price? or are they charging you a percentage?

I don't know for sure about the store, but I know online they were charging $26.XX for 1 Troy ounce of .999 pure silver, depending on the style. Prices look like they are set, they probably don't change with the spot price (which is between $17.5 and $18.1).

It seems like they are sold more as collectibles because the price varies by the style and store, not just weight/purity of the metal. This is the reason I am skeptical.

No offense to the guy running the store, but it seems to me like he is making himself more money by having the store only accept "his" money. He is on the "board" of the AOCS, the ones hocking the silver at what seems to be an inflated price. Looks like his money is made the second you change your money, and then again by buying products in a currency you are unfamiliar with.

Like I said I have nothing against the guy or the idea, it just seems fishy to this uneducated eye.

thats the big flaw in the this system, you have to pay more then the silver is actually worth, and chances are if you bring your own silver they will value it 20% less then it is actually worth like most places that trade silver.

OK. I just got back from the store.

I went to the Dallas gold and silver exchange and bought silver walking liberty rounds @ 20 an ounce.

Then went to his store, He gave me 27 a piece for the rounds. Sounds strange I know.

But here is how it worked out. I bought natural beef. T-bone and Rib-Eye and some other stuff.

At wally world this stuff would have cost me about $60.00 I got it for 41.00 due to the exchange. I don't know how he is working it, but it saved me money, so it works for me.
