I look forward to the upcoming pissing match between Perry and Hutchison. Neither one worth a tinker's damn really, but I'd take Perry in a pinch.

Bunch of posturing between perry and hutchinson. Perry knows that the border is an election year issue and decides to "do something" about it now after having been in office for a few years and doing nothing. And Perry is right, hutchinson is stuck in DC and has done nothing about the issue either.

I think that now that the mexican violence is spilling over the border that the people will demand action. No one wants to see that shit going on here. And it's way past time to deal with it.

So, lets see some real action instead of rhetoric.

It's a political move, but I'll take what I can get. This is a good example of what stiff competition can do, whether it's in business or politics. It forces them to do something that they would not do otherwise. Texas wins.

If Hutchison ran on eliminating the NTTA, I'd vote for her.

Dual fences spaced about twenty feet apart, with a moat filled with crocs or gators between them. Dirty Mexican tries to cross, he feeds the animals. It's a green idea!

Yep, this solution doesn't use lead or carbon-based gun propellants. It's pure genious.

Just mine the border, simplest solution, and you don't need any extra bodies to guard the border. Just the same amount a few extra in towers every so far apart, and bam fire at will anyone trying to cross.

Dig a moat along the border, truck the dirt to New Orleans and fill that shit hole in. They are having a problem with to many gators in Florida, put them in our new moat and Bam 3 problems solved at once!

Perry aint goin anywhere because bush had him put in place back when bush was made president.

Just remember he is in his place because of a bush..

perry works for the Bush family.

I would Love to see Kinky put into power.

My uncle is a frenid of Kinky and went to summer camp with Kinky way back in the day.

Kinky wants to do away with Tolls on Texas roads.

Most tolls in Texas are owned by outside coutries. the money and tickets you pay from the Texas tollways is going overseas. just remember that when you are signing a ticket on a Texas tollway.

Back in the day the road from Dallas to Ft worthless had a toll booth on each side and the people were told when the toll booths pay for the road they would be removed and they were. you can still see the remanence of the old toll booths.

The road that passes by six flags,

My father grew up near the north dallas tollway back in the late 50's early 60's back when the north dallas tollway was traintracks yes train tracks. The people were told back then also that once the tollbooths collected enough money to cover the road that they were going to be closed, but holy shit the State really enjoyed the extra income so they have kept them open every since.

The old toll road that ran by six flags back in the day had a timing system, if you paid the toll on one end and got to the other end before the allowd time than you got a ticket.

Vote Kinky. good by Texas tolls

I would be happy if they were at least made accountable. Right now they have very little oversight.

You know. I'm beginning to wonder if writing letters does change things.

Me and a few others wrote him 3 weeks ago. We basically said talk is cheap, so stop talking about the 10th, and a few other things, and get off your back side and actually do something. Or your back side will be un-employed on the next election.

But then again maybe not. He never responded. Neither did Hutchinson.

even if you had volunteers you will still run out of money very quickly, you would need to feed and house all the volunteers, not to mention paying for equipment, training, lawyers, accountants, and all that costs money.

make it just like a duck hunting stamp.......state gets revenue and border secure. 2 birds one stone.....

Not to mention that there is a well armed drug cartel shooting a lot of Mexicans. I don't think they would have any problems shooting American's.

It's always fun to engage in hyperbole. I certainly love to do it too but we all know that it ain't happening and shouldn't happen.

IMO the only real solution is to let the US Army/Air Force back up the border patrol. I'm not talking about Observer backup either. The problem there is posse comitatus, which I think we need to look at giving a serious revision.

I'm sure there are enough retired snipers that feel the same way, I'm sure the cartel wouldn't expect that, or be able to defend against it.

Posse Commitatus only applies when used against our own citizens. Not against Mexicans. That is border control which would fit for the Army to handle. Mine that bitch.

Sorry Frost. Bush brain got rid of Posse Commitatus when he signed the patriot Act.
This is why they can get away a brigade of freshly battle hardened troops back home and assigned them to the northern pac, to use against any civil unrest.

Look it up.

This is also so why The Oath keepers are growing so fast, and they seem to have a seance of urgency to get the word out.
