America losing confidence in Obama...

according to a new poll. I wonder what will happen if he pulls the nuclear option and forces his Obamacare down our throats? I pulled this off of Yahoo! and it is from the AP.

Poll: Americans losing confidence in Obama

WASHINGTON – A new poll says that Americans, concerned over the future of health care reform and anxious about the growing federal budget deficit, are losing faith in President Barack Obama.

The Washington Post-ABC News survey found that less that half of Americans — 49 percent — say they believe the president will make the right decisions for the country. That's down from 60 percent at the 100-day mark of the Obama presidency.

The poll published Friday says Obama's overall approval is 57 percent, 12 points lower than it was at its peak in April. Fifty-three percent disapprove of the way he's handling the budget deficit and his approval on health care continues to deteriorate.

The national survey was conducted Aug. 13-17 and has a sampling error of plus or minus three percentage points.

If you like the IRS, DMV and the Post Office, you will love Obamacare!

Ya...I've read the Dems may try to pull some stunt that normally reserved for budgets, so they can implement Obamacare without having the votes.

The Washington Compost and ABC are always going to use the polls that provide the better numbers.

Rasmussen Reports I believe is a better indicator for a Presidential approval rating. They basically take the Strongly Approve returns and weigh it against the Strongly Disapprove returns and produce a Presidential Approval Index rating. Today, Rasmussen reports a PAI rating of -8.

Some people like him personally but not his policies. That's where the 57% approval is coming from. And of course there is a certain demographic will always like him no matter what he does.

As far as the remaining percent, some people are too dim to understand that he's a charlatan, and that they have been lied to.

Independents are beginning to swing away from obama, and that's the best hope for the 2010 and 2012 elections.

I never had confidence in him to begin with.

Yep, but lots of people who did are already coming around after only a few months.
