So where are the Obama supporters?

We're closing in on 200 days since inauguration and I am just wondering what you think of ol' number 44. Better than G-dubya? Better than Clinton? Happy with the way policy is flying through Congress?

Bailouts, Cash for Clunkers, government health care, HIV-positive immigration - were these the issues you voted on and do you agree with the implementation? The war hasn't ended yet, does that bother you?

How do you think the next 1264 days of this term will go?

You guys have all been kinda quiet lately and I'd like to see a left-leaning progress report. I'm obviously not a fan but I'm really interested in seeing what "an overwhelming majority of Americans" think about the administration they voted in.

I think they are waiting for their "Worst president ever, until now" t-shirts to come in.

Well that's just what happens when you get some incompetent tool in office who doesn't know what he's doing. At least the old man had some life experience on his side.

The updated Rasmussen approval poll shows he's now at a 47% approval rating, and dropping about 2-3% a week. Hopefully by the time congress is back in session, it will be around 40%. At that point, some congressional democrats will start to distance themselves from him from fear of not getting re-elected. At that point, his presidency will go straight down the shitter.

You'll be hard-pressed to get a left-leaning view point from this site, save for a couple of idiots. Those idiots have been pretty silent as of late.

They're closet supporters, root for him when his approval rate is thru the roof, the scamper away and become silent when his ratings go down. buncha damn band wagoners.

Just look at Spector's approval ratings in Pennsylvania for a good indicator of what people are thinking for next year's elections. If things keep up like they are now he won't even get a chance to run for office, he'll be run down in the street by one of these crazy old people who show up at the town meetings. lol

I saw a nice little chart on him a month or two ago concerning his voting record and the times when he was up for reelection. Somehow, he managed to vote overwhelmingly in the GOP's favor when he was up for reelection as a Republican, but when it wasn't election season, it was 50/50 or 60/40. Now that he has officially joined the Democratic party, he has voted with them 99% of the time.

I wonder how many others are out there like him...

That will all depend on outcome of the 2010 elections.

I think minorities and the Sean Penn-esque liberals would rate him above and beyond the former POTUS you mentioned. And also consider him beyond reproach. You know, kind of like the media.

The rest of us are pretty horrified at the seeds of socialism being planted by a guy who hired a legal team to keep his birth certificate under wraps. A general disdain for preposterous policies that further burden the taxpayer and are not supported by growing multitude of people. Also, disquieting to see dissenion among the ranks in the Democratic party because this Administration's agenda is so far out in left field. And my personal apprehension at all the slimy people in his cabinet, especially the one's who didn't pay their taxes.

BTW....If you guys want to see some cool shit, watch The 700 Club. They show the unedited town hall meetings around the country with Democratic reps. trying to sell Obamacare reform. These Dems are being called liars to their face with people laughing them off the podium. People walking off the dais because they are being booed as they are trying to explain their socialist tenet to middle America. And the best part is so many (white) people that even voted for Obama expressing buyer's remorse. LOL

^Which is exactly why the Obama offensive will not work. People feel like they are losing everything so saying dumb shit like "socialist is the new 'N' word" in regards to these people will backfire.

If they get back and push this through, I see a lot of terms ending early.
