How many of you actually voted?

It seems like any time I ask somebody who they voted for, they say "I didn't vote" yet they have a political opinion. How many of you actually voted? I'm sure there will be some people that lie but honestly, if you didn't vote this past presidential election, just say it.

Then GTFO because you don't have the right to an opinion.

Hell, I vote in city/county elections.

But only when there's a federal or state election.

I have to agree. If you didn't vote, this is just as much your fault as it is the drones.

I voted for the vet and the babe.

My family turned to Obama this election and I got told in no uncertain terms I was not allowed to mention McCain at family get togethers.

Now, they just ask me not to yell at them so much

I haven't missed a vote since I turned 18.

Even when I was stationed in Japan, I managed to always mail off my absentee vote.

Probably not many. Seems if the votes don't go the way the area wants, they get disqualified for one reason or another.

I have voted Republican in every presidential election since Clinton ran for a second term. Until the Democrats field someone who is worth a shit, that trend will continue for me.

This is the first time I've voted. I always said I wouldn't go to the poles and pick the lesser of two evils. I was going to wait untill there was someone worth voting for.

This year the bad choice was so bad that I felt obligated to vote against him rather than for the other guy.

voted for McCain btw.

Dallas news reports Tony Romo tried to commit suicide last night!

Fortunately he dropped the gun and the bullet was intercepted!

I am sure I missed it somewhere but are you gonna go on record of who you voted for or if you voted?

I have voted in every national election and most local elections since 18. I have also voted for Democrats (Clinton X2) and Republicans.

Are you feeling better knowing that you can say you tried to keep the train wreck that is Obama out of office? I would never consider a vote to try and keep Obama out of office as wasted, but that is just me. I think 6 months into it I and other who did it are being validated.

How about all you people who preferrred a better candidate than McCain, do you now wish you had done more to vote against Obama?

I did. I'll admit that I might have made a mistake but nothing crazy drastic has happened yet so when it does, I'll decide then.

After watching two debates I honestly couldn't find a reason to vote for McCain and Palin. They basically used the same campaign strategy that John Kerry. "I'm not telling you why you should vote for me, but here's why you SHOULDN'T vote for the other guy." That's why I voted for Bush his second term.

I'm not going to beat on the younger people for voting for him. They didn't live through Jimmy Carter, and hell, most don't even remember much about Clinton, except him getting skull from Monica and messing up a pretty blue dress...

I will try and ask this without jumping on you. What is it about Obama and his known positions/stances that made him better than McCains lifelong policies and stances? I do not understand how you did not see his socialistic policies, his huge spending increases, and his increased taxes to support said increased spending.

I would also ask that if you knew then what you know about him at 6 months of his Presidency, would you vote for him again over McCain/Palin?

I am LMAO at you for comparing those worthless idiots Kerry/Edwards with McCain/Palin.

Maybe you missed the last 7+ months or just refuse to acknowledge the building blocks of Destructo America that have been placed by Obama.

Voted for Palin and the old guy that wouldn't get out of her way. Democrats motto - vote and vote often!

This is sad on my part. I never voted in my life. I never seen any one worth voting for, with the exception of Regan (the second time) and he was a shoe in, so I did not bother with voting. This last election I voted against, some one, as apposed to for, some one. I thought McCrack head was just a notch less of a P.O.S. than the obama. But I assure you. I will be voting in 2010. Incumbent........ YOUR OUT!

The one, and only thought, good or bad, is to send a very clear message to congress. WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH. If they all get voted out. I'm betting the next set will understand who they work for.

Yea, I know that many places don't start counting absentee votes unless the race is close. However I know that Louisiana requires all Parishes to count absentee votes in all elections.

The problem in Louisiana isn't counting absentee votes, it is counting votes of the dead. It seems we always make sure the dead count for at least 3% of the vote. When ole Edwin Edwards was Governor, they counted for 10%

I voted for the bluehair and his nurse. Until i see someone with a D after their name that's worth a shit, i will continue to vote for the cantidate with an R after their name. I have yet to find a Democrap that offers support for the subjects that i really care about, and more importantly, i think the majority of their concepts and theories are complete bullshit to begin with, so i don't see me voting for a liberal any time soon.

I understand that possibility, but it seems like he removed the possibility of a pro-gun incumbent getting his vote against an anti-gun newcomer. I have to have a candidate who at least mostly shares my core values or I won't vote for him/her.

I voted. It was pretty tough knowing that my vote simply gave McCain an extra number to pile on the Texas win.

My post above yours (#23) was my second choice. My first, was to go into something similar to yours. I'm wondering what he considers "crazy" or "drastic"? Like...$2.5 trillion in debt in 6 months? Socialized health care? Owning GM and a large part of the banking industry?

Yep, I am wondering why anyone but the hard core left is still having any doubts about how bad he is. Hell, there could be video of him playing golf with the devil and 25% of his current supporters would still be okay with him. That is why I asked poopy the way I did. It will be interesting to see how someone who claims to be centered and voted for Obama will respond.

You would also vote out a pro-gun candidate for an anti-gun candidate just because the pro-gun candidate is an incumbent?

I want all incumbents out who don't have my core values, but not at any cost.
