You're (Probably) a Federal Criminal

http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2009/...age-house-law/

This is scary. I wonder how many of us would be in jail? Some years ago I shipped some ammo through the USPS, put the ORM sticker on it, told the postmaster that it was ammo. Went to the person without a problem. I did not know at the time that that was a big no-no with the feds. It should have been shipped UPS or FedEx. Some stupid federal law. I am sure that there are scores of other things I have done that violate federal law. If the general public knew the extent of federal law they might want a change they could believe in. A few years ago there was a campaign of some sort to get someone elected that said "for ever law passed, two will be removed". That stuck a cord with me as a libertarian. I think we need a project like the one for the Atomic Bomb, to clean out many of the federal (and state) laws; however it would be like weaning a junkie off of heroin. Problem is a lot of people like feeding the junkie. Sad. Hats off to the Congressmen holding the hearing.

Fear the government that fears your guns.

Our government needs our help, they have an addiction. Our government is addicted to our money. Since they always have our best interest at heart it's time we return the favor. We need to have an intervention, for the governments own good of course. It's just irresponsible for us to let people with a known money addiction continue to handle our money. Lets have an intervention now so we can help these sick individuals.

There was a Billionaire down here in Houston who went to Russia and shot a moose out of helicoper. He was on a guided hunt and with all the required paperwork. When he shipped the trophy back to Houston he was charged with violating the Lacey Act because he had broken the law in Russia even though he was with a licensed guide. He eventually was aquitted but I bet his legal bill was astronomical.
